1. Just like "there's no structure", nobody hears "he doesn't have experience" anymore. Dino I'm looking at you. Peter Obi has demonstrated that he has the experience both lived and studied to galvanise a movement larger than any our nation has seen before.
A Thread. #Obidients
2. He understands that it is character and altruistic leadership that will light the fire of hope. That it is good stewardship that inspires trust. People want to be able to live their lives in peace and die with dignity.
3. They want to know that their hard work will be respected and rewarded. They want to be able to stand behind whatever the govt does in their name. They want to play, work, love and procreate in peace.
4. When they grieve they'd like it to be for deaths that are either natural or ones science have no answer for. Casualties from accidents on bad roads or rickety vehicles or folks whose life ebb away on the floor of unfeeling hospitals waiting to be paid first are
5. terrible ways to go, but passing at the hands of nameless men and the scale at which it happens in Nigeria cuts a different kind of deep. It negates what it means to live a life at its core.
| Kidnappers | Dipo | Abuja | Amaechi |
6. Add to the fact that regarding this wanton desecration of the sanctity of life, the present govt, causes it, is complicit, is incompetent, doesn't care - take your mix - then words begin to fail you. Someone said that Nigeria is a crime scene. Apt!
7. The undertone of "experience" when these politicians say it, is the "finesse" needed to steal and plunder without allowing others do the same. Or at least to the level that the nation descends into a complete free-for-all dog-eat-dog anarchy. And yet it has!

8. From the frenzy of impunity pervasive in today's Nigeria, we realise that this brand of "experience" has hit its end stage. But why won't it? You can't steal in full view of your minions and keep their hands from the cookie jar at the same time. You can't send soldiers to
9. murder protesting youth or hold the lives of citizens in extreme prejudice and yet expect your lieutenants to not soil their hands in blood. Or neglect benign quarrels and blatantly pick sides as to turn them into full-scale orgies of violence, and expect applause.
10. The bungling of disputes are not even isolated mistakes in one part of the country, but across the length and breadth of the land. My people, e reach to ask, is this even a bug, or a feature?
One this is clear. This "experience" must now perish or we will perish!
11. Peter Obi doesn't find this hard to understand. His whole life has been under one simple premise.
Live as you would want your followers to live. This is the only way. This is wisdom known since time began. The spectacular success in Anambra was PO's lived experience.
12. He says, if the leader or his family and friends were not thieves, corruption resuces by 70%. Pls, don't bother me with the accuracy of that number. My interest is in the truism as should yours!
If a govt gives vent to people's anger or concerns and opens its underbelly to
13. scrutiny, it gets a course-correct mechanism for free! #Obidients, this is the experience we yearn for. This is the experience we must let PO plant in our civic space to last us into the lives of our descendants. What a joy it will be when this hard-fought war on our worst
14. instincts has been won. When words are as God intended.
When "structure" means organic support, not criminality.
When "experience" means the ability to organise, not balancing evil.
Welcome to my profile. Make yourself at home. Here's a list of threads I made to keep you company.
All threads promote the Peter Obi/Datti Baba-Ahmed candidacy.
You can always come back whenever you like 😉
OPEN AND ENJOY.
1. Let's talk about "vawulence". If you're fully for Peter Obi, but you're a bit worried that #OBIDIENTS are rude and disrespectful. Don't be. Let me explain.
If you'd rather not read a long thread -
It's not true! You've been gaslit!
A Thread.
2. To understand my position we must interrogate the mainstream of the camps. Even then, finding the fringe of the #obidientmovement is a task itself because they barely exist. The movement has built a remarkable positive peer pressure mechanism within a short time.
3. You hear people stepping in to stop fake news that supposedly "favour" Peter Obi with cautions like, "Please don't share this until we confirm that it is true". You'll get a price if you find this attitude in the opposing camps.
