1/ Cosmoverse 2022 begins tomorrow. The Medellin event is bigger and better than any previous Cosmos meet-up with hundreds of crypto dignitaries in attendance.
Here's what to expect 🧵⬇️
2/ 1400+ attending #cosmonauts, 85+ speakers, 10+ side events, 12+ workshops, tattoos, special performances, $ATOM 2.0 unveil, the Cosmoverse Awards, whole lotta merch, and over 9000 announcements & alpha drops!
First off, we have $ATOM 2.0. It'll be announced as part of 3 talks, on Day 1 and Day 3, with @buchmanster and @zmanian leading the reveals.
5/ Ethan, the co-founder of Cosmos, recently posted a beautiful article talking through the phases of Cosmos. September 2022 marks a pivotal transition point for the Internet of Blockchains - one that finalises the transition from the Initiation phase to the Integration phase.
6/ The tech is golden, the app-chain thesis is validated, the IBC is being adopted, so the interchain is ready to prosper.
@buchmanster believes this is a long-term, complex process whereat we must innovate socially and technically to enable political economic expression.
7/ Cosmos is now ready to play in the big leagues and reshape the way we think about sovereignty and interoperability. While the Cosmos Hub has, according to many, lived in a perpetual state of martyrdom, this will change with $ATOM 2.0, interchain security, and liquid staking.
8/ The ATOM 2.0 announcement lays the groundwork for the future direction of @cosmos. A long-term future, that is. One that stays true to the same ethos that got Cosmos to where it is today. Illumination is coming!
9/ Want to read an aggregation of speculation @ the ATOM 2.0 announcement? I got you, fam. But take this with a grain of salt and tune into the #Cosmoverse announcements to know it all.
11/ But I smell that more is coming. Are we ready?
On the 3rd day of Cosmoverse, at 4:20PM sharp, @jelenaaa____ will be dropping massive alpha on the centre stage. I'd tune in for this one, wherever you are. It's going to be livestreamed!
13/ Like workshops? There'll be at least 12 of them, with the Juno Hacker's Lounge being super hyped. Once you grow tired of cocktails, arepas, patacones, empanadas, and alpha drops, go build something cool, anon. Or learn something new!
15/ Since we're talking about devs, do note that @informalinc's very own @Thyborg_ will be on the ground helping devs find work in the #CosmosEcosystem, so go holla at him.
18/ #Cosmoverse is also bringing on a ton of awesome sidevents and afterparties. You're gonna have a hard time keeping track of them all, but make sure you get your invites.
20/ Clearly, there's a lot going on. Luckily, the official agenda is available for everyone to see and @0xDonSylvester was kind enough to create a Google Cally with all events which you can import to your phone.
21/ Cosmoverse isn't only about panels though. It's about community, inclusion, and the fight to change Web3 for the better. Less vapourware. More products and real-life adoption.
@CosmosGuides wishes everyone the very best time at the event! Roll on Columbia! 🇨🇴

If you ain't got time to sift through the 27 pages long whitepaper (though by all means, you should), worry not - Cosmos Guides is here to dumb it down and ELI5!
3/ Delphi’s R&D arm, known as Labs, has approx 50 souls dedicated to building new industry primitives. Since Terra’s collapse, they were faced with a difficult decision - picking a new ecosystem to focus development efforts on.
1/ Cosmos loves to talk. In groups, in replies, but especially in community calls.
@Cosmos_Spaces is well-known for their awesome Twitter Spaces and invitees, but did you know they also run their own validator?
Let's take a look at @CS_Validator's work in the interchain 🧵⬇️
2/ Cosmos Spaces is a validator that’s trying to be so much more. It’s knitting a community around all the fantastic projects on Cosmos into one place - or should that be space?
3/ It offers a great option for those delegating their tokens for staking on Cosmos projects, including $ATOM. They pride themselves on ‘synergistic relationships’ between delegators and validators.
