🚨 STEPN GMT Earning 🚨

The #STEPN team are proud to announce that after months of planning and testing, $GMT earning for Level 30 Sneakers will be deployed to the STEPN App in the next 24 hours.

How to play ⚡️

To begin, you will need a Level 30 Sneaker. Next, toggle from GST to GMT earning mode within the STEPN App, which can be done on any realm.

GMT earnings are cumulatively calculated across all realms, so no realm has an inherent advantage. [2/7] Image
Please note 📝

Similar to the working concept of hash rates in a blockchain network, the GMT earning rate dynamically changes every 1 minute based on the number of users earning GMT at that moment. [3/7]
Rainbow Sneakers 🌈

In this update, the Rainbow Sneaker upgrade mechanism from enhancements will NOT yet be enabled. This function will be introduced in the future. [4/7]
Cooldown period ❄️

Many #STEPN users have asked if there will be a cooldown period when switching between GST and GMT earning mode.

We are pleased to announce that there is no cooldown period implemented at the moment. [5/7]
Tokenomics 💫

The total supply of GMT is fixed.

The amount of GMT that can be earned will not decrease daily. Instead, GMT emissions will be halved exactly 2 years after the GMT earning commencement date. [6/7]

Update time!
In our efforts to implement an additional token sink and bring relevance to the Comfort attribute prior to GMT earning being released, we are introducing a new attribute:
Health Points (HP) 💖

What is HP?
1️⃣ HP is basically similar to durability. We are adopting a dual-decay system to ensure the game remains sustainable for a long time to come
2️⃣ The HP attribute will be displayed in the Sneaker's background in the form of a capsule 💊

How does it work?
Moving will lead to HP decaying. The degree of decay is affected by:
1️⃣ Amount of Energy used
2️⃣ Sneaker Quality
3️⃣ Comfort Stat (Higher the stat, lower the decay)
To restore HP, you will be required to burn a mix of:
✅ Comfort Gems
✅ GST
✅ GMT

At #STEPN we continue to actively explore a path that no one has traveled before and we are excited to introduce APE Realm.
As we open the minting of Ape Realm in a few hours this thread attempts to answer some of the questions on the APE realm and STEPN at large.

We've chosen to build our Third Realm on Ethereum and call it APE Realm. This Realm reflects a great experiment to embrace fashion and other NFT communities. We aspire for this initiative as a testing ground for future possibilities in the STEPNVERSE.
