I am proud to share @RealABundy's outstanding interviews at his campaign's website. If you haven't seen them, yet, you're going to be very impressed, indeed.

2) Since the campaign started pushing these interviews out, the request has come in - from supporters no less - that I document my endorsement, which I instantly and wholeheartedly agreed to do. That's what I've decided to work on, here, with you.

3) I'm not going to try to make it tight or clean right now, and maybe not even when I record it...we'll see. But it's important to work through the real factors. Why do I support Ammon, and why do I support him so very, very strongly? Let's see...

4) I don't recall how @RealABundy and I met. I hate that. I haven't known him that long. I think it was last November or December. But what I do recall, vividly, was reading his plan, the Keep Idaho IDAHO Plan.

5) While I was wildly impressed with it, my emotion went far deeper than the vision of Idaho it paints. It was quite overwhelming, really. I couldn't help but picture an America where Governor Ammon's Idaho came to be, its impact on the rest of America and the world.

6) Believe it or not, the word that struck me at the time was Federalism. Part of Federalism is the competitive testing ground of State-vs-State competition. Imagine that Idaho got back the 61% of its land that is now controlled by the Federal Government. Imagine that.

7) That one plank of his plan alone would lead to the greatest rejuvenation of any state in 100 years and more. Put together with the other elements of the plan, Idaho would become the most American of all the States in America, the most grounded in our Constitution.

8) Who remembers De Tocqueville, or who has recently read any of James Fenimore Cooper's works? I have, recently, and the sense they give of a young America just flexing its fledgling muscles is visceral. It's like a time machine. America was once young.

9) I think we have to look back to that new America, the 1790s and first decades of the 19th century in order to get the right feeling for the importance, the true significance of @RealABundy's vision. When I read his plan, my heart actually raced at the thought.

10) It was very easy for me to remember the last time I felt that way. It was in 2016, October to be precise. I was analyzing polling data for the Trump team and I saw that Clinton's Psyop had failed. Here's the graph I drew that day.

11) No, Ammon and Trump are not a great deal alike. But yes, they both inspire the same emotion in my soul. Hope. When I see Ammon's Idaho materialize before my eyes, I see a force multiplier on America's future and destiny. That brings me to my second reason. Ammon, himself.

12) Let's turn to his family. I LOVE the fact that they have fought the Federal Government over land. Look at how young Ammon is here, taken on the Court House steps in Las Vegas, after his family TROUNCED the Federal case against them!

13) And here's the story where I snagged that photo. Ammon is the scion of a family that has led the charge for land ownership rights as no other modern family. They have SO MUCH to be proud of, and we to be grateful to them for.

14) You'll want to read the full story, but do at least take in the first two paragraphs shown here. I am no fan of the perennial overuse of the pejorative term "far-right," but it is a British newspaper, so...

15) After reading his plan, and learning something of Ammon's and his family's past, I tested him as aggressively as I could. Sure I wanted to know if he'd live up to his word or not, of course. And I came to believe he would. But I had a more difficult bar to reach. Competence.

16) That is, while I clearly loved his plan, I had to find some way to feel, at least, that he might have some chance of succeeding in execution. You may believe me when I tell you I was highly skeptical. Yet that very skepticism seemed to bring out the best in him. No kidding.

17) @RealABundy is expert in ways I never will be. That is, he knows everything about state government. He knows everything about making his plans come true. At least, to my eye he sure does. But I've been working with experts my whole life, and I'm comfortable grilling them.

18) Perhaps that's another tie to Trump. Whether Ammon hits every goal, most or even less than most I can't predict. But, as with Trump, I judge Ammon by my own personal credibility in the seriousness of his intention to fulfill his goals. I'll share a Trump example.

19) Long as I live, I will never forget or forgive John McCain in thwarting Trump's effort to Repeal and Replace Obamacare. That was NOT Trump's fault. Trump gave it his all. I am 100% okay with that. And that is my prediction for @RealABundy. He'll give his 100% all.

20) Well, friends, it's time for me to crank up my video cam and get my endorsement logged and delivered to the good folk at the campaign. If, like me, you support Ammon, then please head over, right now, and send some cash. He's not going to let us down.
