The branch of the tree represents present life.
The white and black rats are day and night which eats the presents life.
The honey comb in the tree is Maya.
Vishnu Ji extends his hand towards the human to give him Moksha and release him from this cycle of Misery of rebirth.
But the human is so engrossed in drinking the nectar dripping from the honey comb that he fails to see the extended hands of Bhagwan Vishnu.
Enjoying Sense pleasures are like putting the Ghee (clarified butter) in the fire of desires, A worldly person's (Bhogi) life is filled with full of sense pleasure yet unhappy.
But a Yogi controls the senses and enjoys unlimited joy.

How did Lord Surya Dev appear?
According to legends earlier this world was without light. At that time Brahma ji appeared. The first word that came out of his mouth was ॐ, a subtle form of the Sun. Thereafter, four Vedas appeared from the four faces of Brahma ji, which became one in the effulgence of ॐ.
This Vedic effulgence is Aditya who is the imperishable cause of the world. This Veda form Sun is the reason for the creation, upkeep and destruction of the universe. On the request of Brahma ji, the Sun absorbed his great effulgence and assumed only the self-effacing effulgence.

Why is Brahma Dev not worshipped?
Once the idea of performing a Yagya came to the mind of Brahma ji for the betterment of the earth. After this he started looking for the place of Yagya. Then he dropped a lotus flower coming out of his arm on the earth.
It is believed that the place where Lord Brahma's flower fell, his temple was built there. This temple is located in Pushkar, Rajasthan. According to the legend, Brahma ji reached Pushkar to perform Yagya. During this all the gods and goddesses also reached the place of yagya.
