1) Everyone tells you to take PROFITS in #crypto but doesn't share how.
Here are the 3 strategies you absolutely have to apply for optimal results.

2) Almost anyone will always take profits to soon or to late.
There is no magic formula to time the market but there are strategies you can use to optimize your crypto gains.
Lets begin with showing you the method that basically always works.
3) REVERSE DOLLAR COST AVERAGE.
Everyone is saying to dca your purchases.
Have you ever considered the opposite is also true and SUPER effective?
Instead of spreading your buys in a downtrending market you can also spread your sells in an uptrending market.
4) Dca is super effective yet people are never talking about this on a profit taking level.
If you apply this with cycle theory or simply said notice when things keep going up (not hard to recognize a bull market) you can sell at fixed time intervals.
5) Sell 5% of your portfolio every month on the same day regardless of market conditions.
You will sometimes sell to soon, you will sometimes sell to late but you are ENSURING you have the perfect average profit during an entire run.
6) One of the richest men in the US for half a century "Bernard Baruch" often says he made most of his wealth selling too soon.
Someone who isn't selling today, isn't selling tomorrow even if it goes up further.
7) I've had lots of people tell me I sold to soon (true story).
I sold a certain % of my holdings and it kept going up.
"Told you, you should have waited"
After 2 months of more bullish price action, the 3th month it dipped below my selling point.
8) You think anyone sold?
"Should have take profits like you"
How could they know the top would be in 2 months after I sold?
Exacly they couldn't. The only difference is I knew I wasn't going to be able to.
And that makes all the difference.
9) FUNDAMENTAL TRIGGERS
In my entire 6 years being here in crypto I've never seen something come close to the famous "buy the rumour, sell the news" event.
I've managed to capitalize quite a lot on buying projects early and selling their big events.
10) Stuff like mainnet release, smart contracts, airdrop to token holders, exchange listings, project releases and many more.
The anticipation of this (even in bear markets) usually did wonders to the token value.
The eventual release however did the exact opposite.
11) While many believe that a product launch would push price even further it usually dumped prices.
The anticipation is gone, the hype has subsided and investors left.
Taking profits on these has been very lucrative as a good alternative to dca profit taking.
12) The most recent "Ethereum Merge" was a good example of that.
Since this was a known event for a very long time this was also priced it.
How many believed priced to pump after release?
Bullish event for the long term. bearish short term (buy the rumor, sell the news).
13) TECHNICAL TRIGGERS.
My least favorite but nonetheless a valid argument for profit taking levels for technical traders.
Looking at previous resistance levels where price has seen substantial sell pressure can be potential targets for profit taking.
14) In my experience even previous strong technical levels get broken all the time especially due to fundamental events (which is almost always what drives price).
As such it might not be the most optimal strategy but you are defining your profit levels nonetheless.
15) And someone who is defining their profit levels with clear targets has a huge edge than someone who hasn't defined anything (the eternal holder).
16) Conclusion:
In both bull markets I've been in most people don't have a clear plan.
Everyone is talking about "hodling" after all untill the market reverses and they tell you, you should have taken profits.
17) It's only you that takes the losses and profit however and no one else is going to be involved in that.
Using one of these 3 strategies (especially the first 2 that I prefer) can hopefully give you the edge you need whenever it's time to do so.

2) For the first time since the start of IOTA in 2015, a new token is introduced to the world called Shimmer (SMR).
Shimmer isn't just any other project. It serves as IOTA's staging network which is a pretty big deal.
3) Launched last year in 2021, the Shimmer Network is basically a Layer-1 innovation network that will push the growth of interoperable digital assets.
Alike IOTA, Shimmer is also a DAG-based parallelized settlement layer with a higher L2 anchoring capacity.
