#UPDATE The government of Nicaragua broke off diplomatic relations with the Netherlands on Friday, accusing the European nation of being "interventionist" for suspending financing for the construction of a hospital.
#UPDATE The decision came just hours after Nicaragua's government said it would deny entry to the new US ambassador because of his "interfering" attitude.

#UPDATE "It is regrettable that Nicaragua has chosen to respond in this disproportionate way to a critical message about democracy and human rights," a Dutch foreign ministry spokesman told @AFP today.

#BREAKING At least 127 dead after violence at football match in Indonesia: police Image
#URGENT The deaths occurred when angry fans invaded a football pitch after a match in East Java late Saturday, police said.
Two of the dead were police. "Thirty-four people died inside the stadium and the rest died in hospital," East Java police chief Nico Afinta said Sunday.
Images captured from inside the stadium showed huge amounts of tear gas and people clambering over fences. Torched vehicles, including a police truck, littered the streets outside the stadium on Sunday morning.
