As people ponder the events surrounding the destruction of #NordStream2 and escalating international conflict, it is worth recalling the propaganda and deception of the last 20 plus years that has emanated from western elites. 
1) In the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 event, Bush and Blair conspired with each other in order to initiate a series of 'regime change' wars . eprints.whiterose.ac.uk/112107/
2) And whilst conspiring in secret Blair was deceiving the world with words of humanitarianism and benevolence
3) War in Afghanistan swiftly followed, leading to *20 years* of US-led military involvement, whilst a new deception was devised in order to justify the invasion of Iraq.
4) As is now well established, intelligence was manipulated so as to present Iraq as possessing a current threat in terms of 'weapons of mass destruction' and used to justify an illegal and bloody invasion led by the US: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.10…
5) in 2006, US military commander Wesley Clarke admitted the war on terror was working as a cover for 'regime change' wars, a policy traceable to the 1990s & aimed at 'cleaning up those old Soviet client regimes before the next superpower comes along'

6) As Western-led conflict continued, regime change operations in Libya and Syria, starting in 2011, represented a shift in US-led strategy toward indirect 'regime change' involving illegal support for groups seeking to overthrow these governments.
