As the Charity Commission investigates Mermaids for its approach to safeguarding, now is the time for schools to review their #PSHE and #RSE resources to ensure they are not promoting gender identity ideology.

Ask your children's school direct questions:
Do they have any Mermaids materials in use in the classroom?
Are they referring parents and pupils to Mermaids?

We are Parents For Education- a group providing peer support to parents/carers concerned with gender identity ideology in education. We tackle inappropriate RSE teaching, and help parents hold schools to account to ensure UK Government policies are implemented correctly.
Have you seen materials from your child’s school that you are concerned about? The presence of gender ideology in schools is not an accident. External resource providers are “queering” RSE provision using ideas which blur and break down children’s boundaries.
The promotion of Queer Theory concepts in schools has led to unscientific ideas about gender identity being taught as fact, with the promotion of sex stereotypes encouraging gender non-conforming children to believe either their personality or their body is in need of changing.
