In September, @lizmhermann started to help me get started with Google ads. It's already showing promising results (2 conversions to paid subscribers so far)! In October we're going to also try influencer marketing.
I've also started to discuss a collaboration to produce more content around NotionForms. I want to start with more videos showing users how to best use the product. Hopefully, this should both help acquire new customers and improve conversion rates!
2 weeks ago I also challenged myself to create a small SaaS in 48h, mostly to share my process. This went pretty well, I shipped the product in time. After struggling to get any users, I decided to offer it for free, in order to learn from users.
And for those who recently started to follow me, here's the first update I ever posted for NotionForms! It takes time, but it's so worth it! Start today πͺ
Feel free to reach out below or DM me if you have any questions! π
I'm going to share the whole process here: from ideation to the first customer. My goal is to get a first paid customer within 1 week, let's see if we can make this happen π₯
Here are the steps π

Because of the time constraints, it needs to be simple. I also don't want to do too much marketing as I already have my main projects. Therefore, building a tool for an existing platform seems like the best option. Andy summed up the why:
I already know the platform for which I want to build something: @crisp_im. I have been a customer for a long time, I love the product and use it daily AND they just launched their plugin marketplace.
February was special for me because it was the first time I was taking proper days off since I started working on NotionForms. And instead of starting slow to try and see if my product would still run without me, I took 3 weeks off π I was stressed, but it worked out!
I can definitely feel that there was a slow down but it still grew! There wasnβt any incident, and I didnβt get too many support requests.
Somehow there was a spike in churn in the last few days that completely stopped the growth :(
