If someone *outside* a polling station asks you if you have ID…

…the correct answer is “none of your business”.
And take a photo of them too.

They’re not being helpful. They’re trying to fiddle statistics.
If you do get turned away *inside* the polling station - at the desk where ballots are given out - due to no or ‘invalid’ ID…

… then ask for written confirmation from the clerk that you have been refused your ballot paper. Keep that as evidence that you were denied your vote.

What happened to the missing 45 MPs that supposedly also backed Boris?

My take:

1) If he had them, he would've run

2) He had a fake-it-til-u-make-it strategy to get more onboard

3) The undeclared were prob conditional on him passing the mark- so BoJo said "that's good enough"
4) Then when he couldn't get any more of those conditional MPs to declare openly, to set up the chain-reactions he needed - he realised he had to change tack to avoid egg on his face, having said he had 100

5) He tried to bully Penny or Rishi to join his ticket
6) But Rishi & Penny knew his lying and bullying ways, knew he didn't have the numbers and said no

7) Boris Johnson then needed an out. So he stuck with his 102 MPs bullshit, so as not to lose face, and blamed his failure on Rishi & Penny's failure to unify with him

THREAD:

The Met consistently refused to investigate Patygate despite overwhelming evidence.

They then launched an inquiry days before Sue Gray report release, delaying the report at key moment.

They issue 1 fine to Johnson for the least serious incident & include Sunak.

1/
Johnson tells friends that he's been assured he'll get no more fines (reported on 24/4 - so Johnson knows outcome *one month* before Met announce).

Met delay issuing fines to Downing St during local elections.

Met issue fines for Nov event, but not Johnson despite photos.

When full set of fines come out, it is clearly disproportionately aimed at junior staff, protecting those leaders responsible for the culture and also present at the events.

--- I wouldn't want to make accusations about any individuals in Met, as you don't know who did what.
