"The Committee of Parliament on Official Language headed by Shah has recommended that the medium of instruction should mandatorily be Hindi in all educational institutions including central universities. Hindi will be India's official language at the UN."

The book 'The Story of the Integration of the Indian States' by VP Menon [page 376] mentions that Patel had even agreed to Mountbatten to hand over Kashmir to Pakistan.
Sardar Patel also never wanted Kashmir too, but Nehru and Gandhi did.
'Sardar Patel would have unified British India' myth was started in the mid-1990s by the RW.
Patel was one of the first leaders in Congress to agree to the idea of partition in 1946. Gandhi & Nehru accepted the idea of Partition only by Mid-1947.
The Wodeyars were re-installed on the Mysore Gadi by the British when Tipu Sultan was defeated in 1799 at Srirangapatnam by a combined force of the East India Company, Nizam and Marathas.
Tipu did far more than any other Indian ruler to stop the British from taking over India.
You can hate Tipu as much as you want, but the fact remains that he was an Indian King the British feared the most, along with Ranjit Singh.
And to defeat Tipu, the Nizam - Travancore - Marathas allied with the British.
The Indian Royal Crowns that were vassals of the British till 1947 are now celebrated in Modern Indian History. The new Neo-liberal historians and media hail these erstwhile Kingdoms.
And they all conveniently forget who helped the British in 1857.
“Godse killed Gandhi because of the Partition” is a Lie which has been repeatedly told over the last few decades.
FACT: Godse tried to assassinate Gandhi two times in 1944, 3 years before partition. On July 1944, Godse was overpowered when he rushed towards Gandhi with a knife.

"Generations will remember Bhilare Guruji for saving Mahatma Gandhi in Panchgani in 1944."
Bhagat Singh was a communist and he wrote articles in Urdu and Punjabi. "Inquilab Zindabad", a slogan popularized by him, was coined by Urdu poet Maulana Hasrat Mohani.
If alive today, Bhakts would have branded him an ‘anti-national’.
A Historical FACT:
The slogan "Inquilab Zindabad" became a common slogan for all Indians after the arrest of Bhagat Singh in 1929.
And RSS was one of the few organizations that didn't use the slogan "Inquilab Zindabad" during the Independence struggle.
The American CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) kept a close watch on Operation Polo and the agency feared that if the Nizam was overthrown, then Hyderabad would fall into the hands of communists.
