1/2: RUS officials say a truck bomb is the source of the explosion on the Kerch Bridge. Because the RUS "National Anti-Terrorism Committee" is involved and not MoD, the bombing appears to be Putin plan to expand powers.

2/2: RUS members of the State Duma are also working on drafting a declaration for a Counter-Terrorism Operation in Ukraine. This will allow Putin to broaden powers, ban rallies, tighten censorship, restrict travel and expand the "Partial" mobilization.

Update: And here you have it folks! Right from the Chief Katsap's mouth. Putin wants to use the Anti-Terrorism Operation to expand his powers. Only good news is nukes were never mentioned and, I believe, are off the table for now as he pursues conventional means.
