41 days left in the grain deal, 302 ships outbound, 163 delivered, 6,809,698 MT shipped and 3,326,518 MT delivered. Approaching 7MMT exported through the grain deal. 🧵⬇️ #oatt#wheat#corn#barley#sunflowers
10 ships left today but 3 more were scheduled and then delayed, a big day.
The portion of grain being exported which is wheat is increasing and I expect to see this continue at a slow rate based on the drought conditions in some regions and the planting decreases in others.
In September exports were leaving at an average of 129,169 MT per day and even with a few lower days, the first nine days of October are 144,506 MT per day. If they keep this up they may get nearly 4.5MMT out in October.
Bored on a Sunday afternoon? Go look up Star Helena and Glory on a marine tracker. Both left Ukraine on August 7th and are still not delivered. They have wandered and changed destination and generally looked lost. 🚢⚓️

Two new countries are importing Ukrainian grain, welcome Indonesia and Vietnam!
7 ships and decent day for exports. Are we starting to see a trend of up and down days alternating?

11 ships today, the most in a long while but they really didn’t carry much.
62 days left in the grain deal, 163 ships outbound (8 departed, list is below). The JCC only did a partial update today so we’ll fill in the rest tomorrow. BUT, I wanted to know what’s up with Spain.🧵⬇️
Spain is taking 14.4% of the exports from Odessa ports.
To break that down, 38.6% of the barley, 20.4% of the wheat, 14.5% of the corn, and 5% of the sunflower meal.
Even the insurance war risk premiums have dropped from 2% of hull value to 0.5% after two months of consistent proof of concept but ship owners remain concerned about safety and security.
Putin’s talk this week of cancelling the deal isn’t helping the UN convince anyone that they should get involved and that’s why we’re seeing them get so public in their negotiations and admonitions this week.
