Here is Reza Aslan’s genuflection for Islamist radicals going back to 2008. He dismissed our arguments regarding radicalization in our Muslim communities as “anecdotes.” Indeed, #mahsaami̇ni̇ would be one of those “anecdotes.”
Radical Islam has dominated Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other corners of our world since 1979. “The radicals are silencing…the moderates.” But now they rise in Iran. And thank goodness. With no help for years from Islamist sympathizers like Reza Aslan.
