XPENG G9 has become the first mass-produced vehicle in China to pass an autonomous driving test without additional sensors and computers, meeting Guangzhou's latest standards and demonstrating the capabilities of XPENG's smart driving technology.
G9 used its hardware and software to negotiate 31 urban-driving tests with ease, including recognizing traffic signals, safely overtaking vehicles, merging lanes, and giving way to pedestrians and cyclists.
The antenna shown in the image is a piece of equipment used to measure G9's performance during the test, not an additional sensor.
