1. Sri @manojmuntashir Ji,
It’s not always possible to find exact equivalent words in languages that originated in different civilisations. Hence, linguists & translators use words that have approximate meanings. And if there is none, then word of other language is imported. +
2. Most northern Indian languages use धर्म for religion whereas Telugu uses मत. This has been the practice for at least 200 years. So there is no point now to indulge in hairsplitting polemics or trying to pluck feather out of egg about धर्म and religion, their differences etc. +
3. Importantly it will create more avoidable confusion in the minds of already confused ordinary Hindus apart from giving scope to Courts & #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP to declare that Hinduism is not a religion. And do you @manojmuntashir know what will be its adverse consequences? +
4. If Hinduism is not a religion but a way of life (by the way every religion is a way of life), then Hindus will automatically be deprived of whatever little religious rights they got under our anti-Hindu Constitution. And that will spell death knell for Hinduism and Hindus.🙏
5. Moreover, languages evolve and meanings of words undergo change.
I was told that नास्तिक means one who doesn’t believe in primacy of Vedas. It doesn’t mean atheist. However, for want of equivalent word for atheist we use it. And same happened in case of “religion” and धर्म ।

While Congress is good at making bad laws/policies, BJP is good at enforcing bad laws/policies of Congress.
&
While Congress has NO WILL to enforce their bad laws/policies; BJP has NO GUTS to repeal bad law/policies of Congress. +
2. Take #Minority_Appeasement. While Congress started giving doles to placate Minorities, BJP made it into a fine art by excelling in empowering Minorities to the exclusion of Hindus.
Even @NCM_GoI had its genesis during Janata Party (BJS merged with JP) rule in 1978. +
3. Take #Waqf Act-1995 & Waqf (Amendment) Act-2013 both of which were enacted by Congress. But BJP not only actively collaborated but also suggested in Parliament to make it more draconian & voted for them. Visit TLs of @anshul_aliganj & @RituRathaur for details & evidence. +
British allowed sacerdotal Hindu monarchies to exist albeit in disempowered state. As they existed, they could do great service to Hinduism during British rule. But for them Hindu dharma would not have survived even this long. ++
1. Most Hindus erroneously assume that Constitution became ‘secular’ only after Indira Gandhi inserted that word in its Preamble in 1976 and prior to that it was pro-Hindu. More than anything else, it only shows intellectual laziness of gullible Hindus.
2. Such ‘bauddhik’ laziness enables #PseudoHindutva to easily “identify” enemy to abuse for all Hindu troubles & then go to sleep.
Constitution has been conceived as Abrahamic anti-Hindu document from day one. Just that a law or policy takes time to show its deleterious effects.
3. Two persons whom Hindus worship as demi-gods were primarily responsible for making Constitution anti-Hindu, are Nehru & Patel. They institutionalised Anti-Hinduism as State Policy of India through Constitution.
Today is celebrated as Constitution Day as on 26th Nov 1949, Constitution was adopted by Constituent Assembly whose legitimacy was questionable as it represented <15% Indians.
Very important to know that this Constitution makes Hindus 2nd class citizens.

On 5-11-1948, Sri Damodar Swarup Seth, a Socialist Member moved a motion that as Constituent Assembly was not elected through universal adult franchise, it did not have representative credentials to make a Constitution for India.
His motion was rejected.

Sardar Patel became Chairman of Committee on Fundamental Rights.
He interalia recommended Articles 25-30 denying equal religious, cultural &educational rights to Hindus on par with Minorities, making Hindus 2nd class citizens and laid foundation for destruction of Hinduism.
