I really don't want to say I told you so, but....yeah, been saying #MonkeypoxIsAirborne since ...
June.

Truly ironic that the airborne info is coming out officially at the same time the CDC is saying, "Whoopsie. It's endemic."

The biggest frustrating point is that the CDC could have figured this out much earlier epidemiologically:

We know the CDC knew this at least from October 7th, as they advised to only rave outside. Only useful for airborne diseases.

Gasper air? Looks like it mixes too fast with cabin air to be a straight shot from the HEPA filter.

@MCCCANM is an airline pilot.

He's also an antimasker. One of his favorite attacks is to say N95s only reduce exposure by 1/10th.

He used the same schtick in 2022, 2021, 2020. He never dug deeper.

His bias is also to get people flying, as he is a pilot.

More work for him if people feel comfortable.

I too have a bias - I want this pandemic over. Which means we need to stop transmission.

Ignoring CoVid for monetary Conflicts Of Interest will not make that happen.
Earlier I said it sounded strange that there was only 1/10th reduction of exposure.

We know N95s provide at least 95% protection. N100s, 99.97%.

But the document said it only reduced exposure by 10%....1/10th.

Let's go digging.
