Ukrainian forces liberated at least five more settlements in eastern Kharkiv oblast to reach the oblast border with Luhansk along the P07 road.
Also there seem to be no Russian forces nearby, looking at the soldier in the middle of the street.

As I get some funny comments: Parts of the P07 east of Kupyansk are still Russian-controlled or at least under Russian fire control.
We know this as Russians still control Kyslivka.
So Ukrainian forces must have approached this spot from the West via smaller roads.

Turns out I was even too optimistic. Number of Lyman POWs was around 50 with at least half of them mobilized Ukrainians from Luhansk.
And number of 🇷🇺KIA was less than 100, again, half of them LNR mercenaries.
➡️Educated estimates, verified by footage and sources from the ground.
Russians first collected, then dumped, their deaths from inside Lyman city. 13 in total. 🇷🇺 unit that suffered the most casualties inside the town had 9 KIA.

You can either believe official fantasy numbers of 400-500 killed PER DAY over the last four days of the battle… or not.
And no. It’s not “pro-Russian” to use well-informed secondary sources to verify such claims - from both sides. It’s sane and reasonable.

1st visual confirmation, Ukrainian troops reached #Izyum.
However not via the P79 from Kupyansk, but via the M03 from Kharkiv, which is even more ipressive.
(As always: Map shows only visually-confirmed advances, more areas under Ukrainian control very likely.)

Looks to me like they are the first Ukrainian soldiers arriving at this spot with all Russians having hastely left their fortified positions and fled without a fight.

Stupid question: Wouldn't it have been easy – and an absolute imperative – to destroy the Gorokhovatka bridge over the Oskil with @HIMARStime over the last couple of days, @DefenceU?!
