I have as well spoken with people here in Tirana, Albania about jobs. Media is inundated with unfilled jobs narrative, and one can easily see job offered signed on Tirana storefronts.
I went through njoftime.com jobsite, the largest in Albania.

Conclusions:
1) Hundreds of thousands unfilled jobs narrative is true and untrue at the same time, both in Ontario, Canada and in Tirana, Albania.
2) Well paid jobs were adequately offered in Ontario, but for each job there were 100+ applicants.

3) There are literally thousands of low paid jobs offered in Ontario where the employers write in bold letters that NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, TRAINING PROVIDED. These were all minimum wage jobs, 100% of them.
In Ontario, Canada the minimum wage is $15.50 per hour.

Whereas in Tirana I am seeing now job postings with NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED for minimum wage jobs. In Albania the minimum wage is $340 per month, as far I know. Before even for minimum wage jobs experience used to be required.

4) Employers in Ontario who offer jobs at market salary, have absolutely no problem filling those jobs.
In Tirana, Albania, no such well paid jobs ($700-900 per month) were in offer at all.

5) Employers in Ontario who offer skilled jobs but BELOW MARKET SALARY can't fill them. These are the ones who are complaining that they can't find workers.
In Tirana, many such jobs were posted, not too many, but not bad. Unfilled.

Conclusions:
a) Most Businesses are offering salaries below average in order to survive, otherwise they just shut down.
b) Businesses which can offer market level salaries have no problem finding people.
c) Businesses which rely on low wage workers are starving for people.

Final Conclusion:
The Narrative of millions of unfilled jobs is 75% fake and 25% true.
The Narrative has been picked up by Governments in order pretend they are doing a good job thus deserving to be reelected.
