US Election 🧵. You *will* learn some things and you’ll want to share.

As I’ve been informing democracy defenders for the past week or so, there’s but one message of value at this point with voting underway & several weeks to Election Day: MAGA is #losing. I’ll expand on that.…

1. The Polls: voters are decided and won’t change their minds about who they support. D will stay with D and R with R. It’s the Undecideds that are being courted. But who’s undecided this late? A) People who are gathering info and thinking about it—those people are sane: …

2. MAGA (the cult—that’s all that remains of the once GOP, although…): Super brainwashed! Will vote (or have already voted) R—or *not*. They just might, somehow, maybe not be all that motivated to bother if it seems like it’s going to be an #embarrassing blowout. …

3a. Dems & Independents: Super motivated! Voting (or already did)! GOTV activities! Etc. Talking to them can feel good… and it’s not going to change the outcome. (So give 2, above, some consideration—sample ‘presentation’ provided below.) …

3b. Dems & sane others: Extra motivation! This is not an election in which we just barely manage to ‘save democracy’—it’s the Death Knell of MAGA! It will be obliterated. Buried. History. (See 1 & 2 for the positive feedback loop this powers.) …

4. Celebrations: They are already in order! It’s already over! Vote with gladness and rejoice! (See above… and —>) Not only is this the end of MAGA, it’s the ending of decades of—successful—dastardly deeds by the villains of the GOP. They’ve fully revealed themselves, …

5. The con artists won’t stop trying to instill fear in you (or MAGA). Ignore it. Really. There’s no value—*negative*, actually—in engaging with or even commenting on it. Use the precious time to express how thrilled you are at the *unstoppable* eradication of MAGA and …

those 'background' matters.) Fretting and hand-wringing along the way only slow the process and encourage them. They're trolls 'by nature', and our best option is to *stop engaging* (i.e. taking the bait) & reverse the positive reinforcement loop in our favor--then 'step on it'.

Bonus note: And all this *in spite of* much of the full spectrum of news, social media, and propaganda outlets, grifters, 'influencers', etc. enabling--and worse--the downward spiral. Institutions held. We prevailed. Let's finish it. They'll flail. We can't prevent that. #persist
