A Medical Practitioners Tribunal found cosmetic surgeon Dr Christopher Inglefield misled a serious incident review meeting.

His actions were dishonest.

Medical practitioners tribunals decide if a doctor’s fitness to practise is impaired and what action, if any, is needed.

The MPT’s decision is not intended to be punitive, but it may have a punitive effect.

In 2016, Dr Inglefield was given a 5 year written warning for repeated failure to properly complete surgical consent forms. He failed to record details & made revisions forms that weren't countersigned by the patient, who had a series of cosmetic breast procedures.

We will report when the tribunal reconvenes on 28 November to consider what sanction, if any, to impose on Christopher Inglefield’s registration.
