In this era young white men are often afforded a space to fail up by older white men that control most of the wealth in America. They see former versions of themselves. And hand out advantage to keep that image for society. The con of our moment is to mask it w/ Black celebrity.
In addition nepotism has run wild within wealth calcification. And it drives OUR eras winners & losers. There is no group that unknowingly lives further under that boot than #ados Black men. Lives set up for failure from the day they left the womb. Yet expected to provide as men.
The craziness is 99% of you don’t even know this is going on… And it is that pressure & con that scratches at the back of your brain. The feeling of helplessness while being given the faux belief you have all the tools. — Say again how #ADOS didn’t trigger reparations??? 🤫
They showcase them like #decadentveil show pieces creating a faux belief of diversity in opportunity. And you the lay Black man are not burdened with a legacy of enslavement & Jim Crow. Your failure is in not being industrious & becoming Meek Mill or Hov.
Whatever becoming Meek Mill & Jay-Z means beyond being a #decadentveil???
Each iteration of failure from slavery to Jim Crow to mass incarceration & even now payless work like a Uber (when you account for cost & risk) written for you to be the place to hold the failure of American capitalism. An era built on a matrix of faux choices so you accept.

They are trying to tell us anything. Biden has stepped down weeks before the election and handed us a full mess. Everyone knew he was mentally unfit well before today.
So now we are forced to vote for whoever the DNC gives us or end up with Trump. Remember we as liberals rejected Kamala Harris during the 2019 primaries. She was finishing near last.
It is selfish craze this has happened way.
Look for yourself. So now a @KamalaHarris that was polling at near no support in Democratic Party primaries is the nominee weeks before the election?
“The question begs how will the economic winds take back the keys to life which consumer credit has afforded a generation. It will be done quickly and without regard for feelings, or consideration for struggle.” Rise of Legacy @tonetalks HuffPost 2013 huffpost.com/entry/the-era-…
Watch this video I used in the above article “Rise of Legacy” I did on economics on @huffpost in 2013. vidrise.com/v/litov/
I don’t think people much cared about this #investfest. It came and went. Not sure if it’s even worth a show gauging the interest. Boy didn’t they try to push this craze? They took all the old #decadentveil Black celebrities from 2000 they could find to try to sell these $300 tickets on the financial golden brick road to nowhere. 🤫😆 Black folks generally could care less is the after message. 🤫🤷🏿♂️👀🇺🇸🙋🏿♂️
In my view the #investfest was a conference for young Boomers of 1987 working jobs with pensions and buying $75k homes. Sold off to millennials in 2023 working gig jobs and living the consequences of believing in Nixonian Black economics as uplift for 40 years too long. A conference created by people who don’t really understand race or wealth in America. 🙋🏿♂️🤫 @JTPocketWatcher @CommonSenseEli in my view the money is in selling classes to the aspirational not investing in assets. Tell them give it away for near free if it isn’t. And make money when the participant does. 🤷🏿♂️
My piece in @fortune on race and wealth. “What We Get Wrong About Closing the Racial Wealth Gap” fortune.com/2018/04/16/rac…
It makes little to no sense to take part in an event to pitch reparations when it is built on financial bootstrap talk. And they are charging $300 for tickets and have the audacity to have $1800 vip tickets. These people are selling high priced financial classes and she’s on stage in my view ignorantly binding their expensive financial class product with reparations.
The fact that #Uber launched 1 month after @BarackObama was sworn into office. And that #jayz & @Beyonce among others were invited to invest early so they could be used to normalize it to Black folks and others are the cost of praising the #decadentveil. vidrise.com/v/ojmh1/
Just awful. But someone beyond POOR will read this and praise it through a view of their own super capitalist potential. 🤷🏿♂️ The #decadentveil has done their job. “Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Ashton Kutcher and more reportedly set to make a killing as Uber goes public” nme.com/news/beyonce-a…
🤫🤷🏿♂️ @Uber @BarackObama both launch in early 2009.
No group in Black politics suffered more under the points made against the Biden administration in federal court today regarding social media than #ados. The retracted Harvard #ados paper was also created by authors paid by democratic donor org Move On. In review of the #ados… https://t.co/rPjPy3dEoStwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
“A federal judge in Louisiana ruled Tuesday that the Biden administration likely violated the First Amendment by censoring unfavorable views on social media over the course of the coronavirus pandemic, calling the efforts “Orwellian.”” politico.com/news/2023/07/0…
And again let’s make everyone clear what was done here was plainly awful. And it damaged the reparations discussion in immeasurable ways that are now very clear. #ados
There would be no crazed hollering in this room if I was present and not shut out of my own work product. They then used them to now spin REPARATIONS into an equity project for all. They just aren’t sharp enough to see it.
