I started BeatBandit with a realization. AI is changing the world of storytelling.
Eventually producing a story into film, TV, animation, book, game will become 100x faster/cheaper than what is it right now.
Story creation needs to do the same.
Writing a screenplay can’t take months if producing it takes weeks.
We see a 100 companies focusing on creating AI production tools, but there doesn’t seem to be 100 companies focusing on helping people to write great stories.
Yet a polished production and fancy visuals are irrelevant if your story… well, sucks.
This challenge remains – how to write a good story?
I’ve been studying screenwriting now for around 5 years, and I’ve been involved with AI now for almost the same time. At first I thought these two passions to be separate threads, but rather quickly I started to see collaboration potential.
Screenwriting is part “having stories to tell” in the first place – an eagerness and fearlessness to express your own imagination – but it is equally a lot of craft. Technique. Structure. Knowledge about “what works” – what are story elements and features that resonate with people. Processes about how to deal with the complexity of mapping out 120 pages of words that ideally all tie in with each other in a myriad of ways. A house of cards that doesn’t fall down.
I’ve been building many various AI exercises (StoryGEN etc.) trying to map out the screenwriting processes, replicate them with AI. Some worked better than others.
Finally start of this year I started to feel like I had something good in place.
I built something that felt useful to me. And I realized that it might also be useful for others.
Hey did you know that Flux can do more than just photo models!
Flux 1 dev with 3 Loras + Magnific + Luminar for film grain

For these images, I didn't run the ultimate upscale step so they're a bit rougher in overall appearance (which I think fits).
If you want them smoother, run the Ultimate SD step before @Magnific_AI / your favourite upscaler.
With the settings I used here, 50% of the generations are "too broken weird" and not posted here but who doesn't like weird (there's some awesomeness in there I will use for other purposes)
Featuring my upcoming 500-piece main collection "REWORLD" (Day 1) and the fantastic post-photography group collection from 10 super-talented AI artists (Day 2), all pieces curated by yours truly.
