Ridge Austin James Kinney, 11/15/2001, in custody on 2nd and 4th degree assault, fleeing x2 and 1st degree damage to property.
Charges say Kinney rammed a Brainerd squad during a suspicious vehicle stop, then fled, crashed and fled on foot.
2/ Two prior felony convictions on 1st degree burglary of an occupied dwelling in two separate cases, which is a violent crime. Also, has another felony conviction on receiving stolen property.
3/ In a 2019 conviction on 1st degree burglary, a plea deal dismissed 3 counts of felon in possession/firearm & another ct of 1st degree burglary & spun him out on a stayed sentence for the violent crime of 1st degree burglary.
MN is totally serious about gun and violent crimes.
4/ Not even 5 months later, he was charged in a new 1st degree burglary case x2 felony counts plus 5 other charges.
He was tossed another plea deal dismissing 6 charges and was allowed to serve the sentence concurrently with his prior conviction.
Minnesota has a $9.25 BILLION surplus of your money that they over-taxed you. In addition to their over-taxing problem, our "leaders" have a spending priority problem.
Government's one and only job is protecting the public. They are failing.

1/ Last week, every #MNmedia outlet ran with a faux outrage story about the new Community Safety Commissioner Cedric Alexander @Calex_law basically telling a couple of loudmouth agitators to STFU over their complaints about some empty squad cars parked in #MplsDowntown.
2/ Every👏Single👏#MNmedia👏Outlet👏 that reported on this nothing-burger story failed to tell you that the main agitator Cedric Alexander was responding to is a whiney defund/abolish police proponent whom he shouldn't even have bothered to respond to in the first place.
3/ Last year, the above loudmouth agitator was one of several people who submitted a letter to the Star Tribune in support of every 'defund police' city council candidate.
Yet, the @StarTribune couldn't be bothered to include that not unimportant tidbit in last week's article.

ACTION ITEM NOW: Elizer Darris, director of the Minnesota Freedom Fund will be gaslighting an audience starting at 6 p.m. courtesy of the complicit National Lawyers Guild.

In case you need a reminder of the damage Minnesota Freedom Fund has done, we're keeping a list of the violent criminals, including murderers and sexual predators, they've aided and abetted.
Ellison alleges FF "aided and abetted straw purchasers."
That would be a CRIME. He knows this assertion is absurd and that's why he's filing a weak civil suit, not a criminal case.
.
2/ This is another attempt by @AGEllison to attack Minnesota businesses as a deflection away from Minnesota's weak, criminal-sympathizing "justice" system; a weak system based on feelgoodery for criminals which Ellison has openly supported, empowered and contributed to.
3/ The Truck Park mass shooting, on which this lawsuit is based, was perpetrated by Terry Brown WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN PRISON but wasn't because @MNCourts ARE WEAK and filled with criminal sympathizing judges and prosecutors.
