1. It was a faithful night at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos, with conditions that were ripe for disaster. A tragedy that shocked the World. On that penultimate night of the peaceful demonstrative rallies, a Twitter user twitted that the Army were on their way to the tollgate,
2. but innocent Nigerian youths maintained their positions. Armed with just placards & our loud voices, singing the National Anthem at the top of our lungs, we thought that those were symbolic, & they would save us. WE WERE WRONG! This is a very Sad Nigerian Haunting Story.. 💔😭
3. Overwhelmed by pent-up anger & bursting from the inside to be heard, we never imagined that the Armed Forces who are meant to protect us, were out for blood. At around 7:45 PM on 20.10.2020, our comrades stationed on the lookout, spotted the Nigerian Army directly ahead.
4. By the time the Army arrived & opened fire on “unarmed peaceful protesters,” it was already too late. Overcome by the force of numbers & bullets, confusion & chaos ignited. Many youths died, others lived to count their losses. The cross movement of statistics was staggering.
5. After the guns went silent, bodies were gone, disappeared, carried away by the murderous army just like that. Then came the denials & premium gaslighting from agents of the Government. We can’t forget Sega Awosanya, AKA Segalink in a hurry. He is at the center of this story.
6. His ‘Insurrectionists’ dog whistle was the catalyst that started it all. Sega give the Nigerian State the oxygen. SegaLink is steeped in plot & manipulation of public opinion. A horrible man & agent provocateur, uncle Sega has the blood of innocent Nigerian youths in his hands
7. The night of October 20, 2020 was a Fright Night, it was a scene seen only in horror movies. This time? it was Real. There were loud cries for help, there was anguish, blood spill & blood stain all over the paved road. It was a gothic scene, you could feel the cold shivers.
8. It was a violent night when the Innocents were suppressed in the most chaotic & brutal insane manner. By morning, the streets were calm, mop up was launched, curfew & mass arrests began. Lagos went silent. That was how the #EndSARS peaceful rallies died out.
9. Lagos returned to its most perfect of conditions apart from our comrades languishing in jails, & in their hideouts. The State didn’t end their Occupation right there. Now emboldened by ‘The Massacre of Innocents,’ they began to block the bank accounts of protesters.
10. Nigeria offers you misery or death, choose, it matters not to Nigeria. CBN Governor, Czar Godwin Emefiele, went into town hunting down bank account of protesters, he did that almost by fiat. Survivors were taken to nearby hospitals. Mortuaries in the city were filled up.
11. Some dead bodies were thrown into the lagoon. I am absolutely certain that the designers of that infamous carnage are cold-blooded calculated murderers, they shouldn’t have described it as a “Shooting.” It was nothing like that, not by any stretch. It was a Bloody Massacre.
12. It’s been 2 years since the ‘Nigerian Spring.’ A Peaceful Protest championed by Brave Youths was poised to change the fortunes of Nigeria, for good. It was against the Brutality of the Police. The Struggle was peaceful, until it wasn’t. This is a Sad Story, an #EndSARS Story.
13. Two years on, Nigerian Youths are still in pains. Who will hear our cries against something so close to home? What started as a Peaceful Protest against Police Brutality & invigorated our voices for a fortnight, is now an unfinished business, at the 2023 general polls.
14. Our story represents the wonderful ways that underdogs can win. In the beginning, Nigeria never really saw us as any type of threat. That has changed, we are now an army of Formidables. We are ordinary people, doing extraordinary things. This fire in us is unquenchable.
15. But for us to win, it’ll take more than single acts of courage. It’ll take an army of PVCs who will soon get the chance to fight for country & for Glory. My sisters, brothers, let us come together, organize & structure up. We have this very unique opportunity to get it right.
16. #EndSARS is a marathon, not a sprint. On 20.10.2020, the 🇳🇬 Army massacred a whole Generation, my Generation. Two years on, Police Brutality is still with us. Lekki Violent Suppression is an election question. Never forget WHY we fight & WHAT we fight for. #Lekkitollgate ✊🕊
17. Remember our brothers & sisters cut down in their prime by the most brutal Regime to rule Nigeria in recent History. They did that without showing any form of remorse. THERE MUST BE CONSEQUENCES FOR BAD BEHAVIOR.
1. Peter Obi said he’ll turn the North into a massive farmland, & make Kano & Kaduna the Food Processing Hubs. Then it hit me differently when he said All Commercial Banks will have stakes in the Bank Of Agriculture, & commit loans to genuine farmers. Is History about to be made?
2. Obi has hacked the Economic Power Houses & Processing Zones of Nigeria. From Consumption to Production mantra is coming to life, we are witnessing a move away from Oil Economy. To the Opposition, these WONDERS are not happening, they shouldn’t be happening, they can’t happen.
3. But Peter Obi is bold & fearless. A Rock whose heart is in the right place. He did not pamper the truth. He looked the North in the eye & told Arewa Joint Committee the truths, the whole truth, & nothing but the truth. Unlike Atiku & Tinubu, Obi does not play ethnic politics.
1. While Peter Obi already presented his Economic Plan at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry Summit, Tinubu is poised to miss his schedule at the LCCI Summit, on October the 28th. Again, Peter Obi’s Energy Plan clearly includes Renewables, Tinubu's Plan does not.
2. In fact, Bola Ahmed Tinubu said he won’t tackle Climate Change, unless the West guarantees his Financing. Renewable Energy is so important because the European Investment Bank (EIB) said “no new funding for gas projects, unless you add renewables.”
3. NLNG will not access European funding for gas projects, unless it adds renewables. Peter Obi’s Energy Plan at the LCCI Summit includes Renewables. However, at the just concluded Arewa Joint Committee Sessions in Kaduna, BAT confirmed he is going to fight the West.
1. “Northerners need me, not a Yoruba or Igbo candidate.” Atiku’s provocative utterance is now etched in infamy, forever. Atiku deleted his Deborah Yakubu tweet, you defended him. Mahdi Shehu & Reno O’Mockery preach hate against the Igbos (on Atiku’s behalf), you defend him.
2. Wike says Ayu must go, you defend Atiku. Now Atiku is no longer pretending. His mask is completely off. The notorious duo: Reno O’Mockery & Mahdi Shehu are not divisive enough? Atiku has become a full-blown bigot, he is now campaigning on ethnicity, division & bigotry. WOW!!
3. PDP paid Boys cannot spin this one. Wadata rusty analysts cannot intellectual their way out of this one, not on my watch! The video is now in my archive, & I’ll tweet it as a constant reminder for my followers, every week. Waziri Adamawa is even more dangerous than Tinubu is.
1. The Peaceful Political Emancipation underway in Nigeria, can be likened to the African American Abolitionist Movement of the Early 19th Century America. Nigerian Youths had no political power, until now. At the core of the Soro Soke Movement is Equality & Equal Citizenship.
2. Nigerian Youths are fighting for Inclusion/Integration, & a Right to Better Social Policies. We simply want to breath & be heard, we need representation at the table, we are Reformers in our own right. We refuse to be subjugated & put down like a subservient demography.
3. We know who we are, we have abilities, we want Equal Opportunities to drive Nigeria into her own Industrial Revolution. We want Equal Representation & Social Justice. We want to be treated with Dignity, we want the youths educated & allowed back into the classrooms.
1. The 25th of Feb is a Referendum & a Rebellion, at the ballots. The Day of Reckoning & of Verdict. It is the Day of Citizen’s Retribution. The Day Nigerians will take out their Revenge on the ruling class. On that fateful day, Nigeria will witness a Renaissance like no other.
2. The Defenders of Nigeria will ring the bells. The young & the old march to their polling units for the Final Battle. Youths of Nigeria sweep across the 774 LGAs, in all 8,809 wards & 109,973 polling units. The bad eggs holding Nigerians hostage are repelled, one after another.
3. People of Goodwill fight side by side with the energy of their PVCs, shattering & creating a gaping hole through the ranks of the APC & the PDP. A deadly blow; our daddies & mommies came to our aid at the polling units, it’s a fight for the soul of the once Giant of Africa.
