(Please note that I am very much open to any form of debate on my positions on this document).
Walk with me PLEASE.
1. It is thin, peripheral, superficial, drab, unsavory, evasive & vague.
2. Thoughtless projections.
3. The numbers are not adding up or in any way corroborating with existing figures. A good example are the housing & GDP stats.
4. It is not quantitative & written to confuse.
5. There was an attempt to deliberately pose embarrassing figures since it is widely believed that Nigerian voters are generally "illiterates" & real literates don't even vote.
6. An attempt to bamboozle the public with unrealistic promises to increase oil output to 4 million
There's a report making the rounds by Bank of America suggesting that Naira at a CBN rate of about N435.06/$1 is currently being overvalued at over 20%.
What were their indicators?
1. The widely used black market rate. 2. The CBN Real effective exchange rate (REER).
3. Currency fair value analysis.
Further projections from the report suggests that even at this, the Naira is expected to weaken by an equivalent amount over the next 6-9 months, taking it to about N520 per USD at the official CBN rate.
So what are the implications?
1. Considering that the current CBN rate which is pegged about about N435/$ and the black market rate is at N740/$ is believed to be overvalued, the potentiality of the naira slumping further towards the N1,000$/$1 is almost becoming an inevitability.
I complained about how the PDP media campaign is run a few days ago and it was simply out of sincere concern for the party.
The plot has long been lost and it has only opened us to more disdain by members of the public simply because we have been unable to run campaign of issues
Peter Obi's threat seems to be our major focus whereas an Ahmed Bola Tinubu is spreading his political tentacles and gaining traction offline.
Meanwhile, a section of our very uninformed supporters are busy celebrating some inconsequential decamping to our party by some
Individuals with no electoral value.
Idiots are now the ones running our campaigns on social media, including twitter. Everybody is now a PDP Boy or girl on twitter. There's no central coordinating unit. The future doesn't look good for the party.
Lol.. I have keenly observed a section of our online commentariats engage in mental gymnastics on a topic they have zero range on. It only further exacerbates the level of decadence in our educational system.
Now, let me make certain points on this issue very clear here.
