Tragic Truss lost the race to see if she could outlast our 60p iceberg as she finally gave up on her attempt to cling to power after days of chaos at Westminster.

She becomes the shortest-serving Prime Minister in British history after just 44 days in office - unbeleafable!

Speaking outside Number 10 today, the former PM said: "I have spoken to the King to notify him I am resigning... I will remain as PM until my successor has been chosen."

Thousands of followers tuned in over the last seven days as our lettuce enjoyed pork market sandwiches, hid under the desk, and served up some extra woke tofu for supper.
