Why wouldn't the #BidenRaidOnTrumo drive more GOP turnout than Dems? Being happy about a raid isn't such a powerful motivator as being angry about it.

6/24/22 came the Dobbs decision. Dems rose in the polls.

Then came the 1/6 hearings and the raid. Dems are down in the polls!
The narrative in August that the GOP should not talk about the raid based on the premise that it's bad on Trump rather than on the raiders, was an insane level of gaslighting. Like... Why would the victim of a political persecution be on the defensive? Made no sense.
Less than half of registered voters approved of the #BidenRaidOnTrump in a poll taken days after the raid when the propaganda about the raid was at its strongest and scariest, and look at the GOP numbers. And with Trump there is always the factor that people hide their stance.
Remember this? "Polls reveal Trump's FBI search bump" among GOPs.

So again: The idea that the @January6thCmte and the #BidenRaidOnTrump should help happy Dems more than Angry GOPs, is nuts, poll-less and a ploy to gaslight the GOP into silence!

Hack @sbg1 is fuming that Trump's approval remained essentially unchanged from before the first @January6thCmte hearing through this week.

This happens when a commentator is wrapped up in an illusionary world,
and I am not going to explain it in a long thread. Waste of time.
One @January6thCmte hearing after the other was 0 + 0 + more 0s; except of course if your view of US politics started in Nov 2020.

"Overturning elections" was tried by Gore.

Rejecting legitimacy of results was tried by @staceyabrams, @HillaryClinton.

Whatever.
People popping off at the tail end of a 7 week effort to ascertain the integrity of elections, does not mean that those who opined about the elections and wanted to use legal tools for it are at fault for the end or else Obama/other Dems are at fault for BLM-related riots.

Useless and/or complicit @jeffsessions, @RodRosenstein, @MattWhitaker46 and Bill Barr did little-to-nothing about this brazen, blatant, politically-motivated abuse of power. Astounding that this didn't lead to dozens of raids and prosecutions.

Not astounding, actually.
Bruce Ohr was a senior DOJ official who shopped the Clinton-funded Steele Dossier around the DOJ.

His wife worked for Fusiom GPS which quarterbacked the dossier.

How does such a blatant pay-to-play (paying a senior DOJ official via his wife) not get prosecuted?

Total walk!
The Obama-appointed Inspector General of the DOJ referred a few people for prosecution in relation to their abuses and lies regarding 2016.

Barr gave them all a pass.

These goons door busted him in the early morning and handcuffed him in front of his kids. Meanwhile, dozens of arson/vandalism incidents against pregnancy centers didn't get such prosecutions.

Neither did dozens of human/drug smugglers.
Our democracy is in tact and we are safer now too...
“Put simply, violence is never the answer,” said the Special Agent in Charge who sent two dozen armed agents to door busts the home in the early morning and arrest the father in front of a horrified family of many young kids. These chickens have no guts to take down criminals.

Hi @NYCComptroller @bradlander and @LizKrueger

#AsAJew, read the memo by Doug Scheinder on the multiple anti-Semitic and bigoted parts of the #ShapiroDossier.

If David Duke did it to African Americans, you wouldn't focus on the alleged "facts."

As a Jew, where are you now?
The #AsAJew crowd consists of people who on social/other media identify "As A Jew" only for their leftist politics and/or to pile onto Israel and Hasidim, but are publicly MIA on anything else Jewish. "As a Jew" Trump and a tweet from a small time white guy are bad. But...
those same Politically Leftist Jews are largely silent when almost all hate crimes against visibly Jewish people in NY the last 5 years were by non-whites. This does not fit their political agenda, so their #AsAJew tag gets put on ice. cc @bradlander @LizKrueger @JerryNadler

I am a Hasidic Jew, and a subscriber to the NYT (and a half a dozen other information platforms including the WSJ and the CNBC if you really care to know).

I'm not going to waste your time to refute every claim, but let's just take a stab at the points inserted in the email. "Denied a basic education."

"Denied."

You can enroll your kids in whichever Hasidc or non-Hasidic school you like; you can teach them what you wish. Image
Next is the "basic" education line. From school pick up to drop off, Hasidic students are out of the house 10 hours a day, 6 days a week most weeks of the year. The writers want you to think that prayers and religious stories is all or most that the students spend their time on.

Con Inc'ers think that the GOP's electoral problem is Trump and Trumpism. Many former Trump fans are "just tired" of him. @IngrahamAngle said so.

I am not going to give you now data to make a case otherwise. But I want to direct your attention to George W. Bush.
2/ Late 2006 was the end of his second year of his second term. His first term was delegitimized as "stolen" by a 5-4 SCOTUS ruling as well as by his brother @JebBush who was FL's governor. Afew months into his term, a GOPer left the party; giving Dems control of the Senate.
3/ Shortly thereafter the terror attacks happened. Bush's ratings popped and he drove it to the historic midterm election wins for an incumbent party (in 2002).

But then the fun began on multiple levels, in no particular order.
