The Future Of Delivery Has Arrived!

Over the last 6 years the delivery industry is growing at an insane rate. More people are ordering more products online than ever before & it's not slowing down.

Global food delivery market = $220bn
Ecommerce delivery = $717bn Euros

$DISC is going after almost a $1t market.

INTRO

Drone Industry Systems Corp($DISC) is a multimodal autonomous transportation company, for the delivery of cargo & people.

Their mission is to create a transportation delivery service that is safer, more secure, environmentally friendly, and is economically sustainable.

I just want to say before we get into this...

This deep dive only scratches the surface of what $DISC is building. If i was to go any deeper the thread would be 40 tweets long.

The Vision

$DISC are providing 4 different services

1. Fully integrate-able Drone airports/repurposed roofs for retail centres and businesses
2. Quick service delivery of products and people
3. On demand real-time providing of weather data
4. Quick Service Delivery App

The market potential here is MASSIVE!

Imagine the operation of Smart drones, running on and validated by the #HyperGraph, providing the autonomous delivery of all goods and people.

Not only that, drastically improving the worlds weather data understanding through nodes.

The Problems

Many logistics businesses are exploring drone services, but there are SO many variables that make this tough.

- Drone access
- Real time weather requirements
- Data security
- Data systems that can communicate agnostically
- Consumer trust

$DISC tackles these.

The Solutions

1. Rooftop & Ground Drone Port(In a Box)

$DISC tackles the Drone access issue through providing its out of a box, drone port. All it needs is a rooftop space & away you go.

In 2017 the US had 116k shopping malls that are suitable for this. None are using drones.

2. Quick Service Restaurant Drone Delivery

$DISC is building a multi-modal hailing app for the delivery of goods and people. Providing ride sharing and food delivery to the masses, giving power back to the restaurants and realigning the value exchange.

Food delivery businesses have acquired a huge market share & power of the restaurant industry, charging huge percentages that are crippling businesses & taking away the customer brand experience.

$DISC is giving power back to the restaurants, whilst offering a better service.

3. Weather Data & NFT's

You might be a bit taken aback by this one. But what $DISC are doing here is truly innovative & extremely beneficial.

Weather is collectively known for being unreliable. This is because its currently based on info between satellites & airport sensors...

Which makes the weather data lagging and uncertain, especially between 0 - 400m, which is where drones will operate.

Operating on the #HyperGraph, all data will be processed in real time. Each drone will essentially be a node feeding real-time weather data back into itself...

In addition to this, we have the

Smart Doorbell Miner.

What will act as a regular doorbell, will also be a node on the #HyperGraph, feeding real-time weather data into it. For this the owners will receive crypto rewards via an NFT.

The weather industry is worth $9.16bn

4. Autonomous Ride Sharing

We've all seen the futuristic movies where they fly around in driverless vehicles. Well that future is close... and $DISC are gearing up for it.

The ride-share market is expected to be worth $220B by 2025

In addition to all this, $DISC is building an Autonomous Mobility Data Exchange.

By leveraging $DAG's #HyperGraph network, they can provide immutability, security, audibility, & traceability with every piece of data they acquire through drones and doorbells(plus more).

This means $DISC will be able to package up all the data it acquires into an exchange for other businesses to utilise. They will also have...

- Weather data exchange
- Smart delivery data exchange

Data is everything. The Global Big Data Market is expected to reach $262B by 2027

$DISC have clearly spent a serious amount of time building out this project. They have placed their fingers in many different pies between delivery of products to data exchanges.

To solidify all of this, they have a variety of tech patents in progress.

Launch & Tokenomics

$DISC is planing to launch in Q1 of next year. They will initially build to launch as an ERC-20 token, and convert over to a $DAG Layer 0 token when possible.

They will be aiming to raise $49m all in all.

As i said at the beginning, there is a fair bit more I could go into detail about here.

What i wanted to achieve today is giving you an overview of the use case and potential of this project. I'm sure you can see from this short thread what can be possible here.

So, to conclude

I think what $DISC is building is simply incredible.

Their futuristic approach to solving huge problems from restaurant delivery to weather management and data providing, is very impressive.

This is definitely one to keep your eye on!
