And... no, I don't use WP Rocket.

Love the plugin. We work with it on a lot of client websites.

But we can pass CWV without it, so I don't add it.
If my site is on Ezoic, I don't need a caching plugin.

Otherwise, I use W3 Total Cache.

I've had good luck with WP-Optimize and Autoptimize as well.
I do keep Better Search Replace installed but not active, just in case I need to use it one off.

If so, I Activate it, use it, and then De-activate it.

Stop writing about a product's features

People don't buy the features in a product

They buy the benefits it gives them

You need to leverage this simple principle when writing copy for your website, landing pages, and emails

An example 👇
Many think that Apple was the first to release a portable MP3 player (iPod). But they weren't

The first MP3 player released was by Saehan Information Systems in 1997

Apple was just the first to make it popular
In the late 90s, companies relied on feature-driven marketing to sell MP3 players

"Storage for 1 GB of MP3's"

And their marketing was accurate. But no one cared. Sales were flat

You see, no one really knows what 1GB of MP3's means. And subsequently, no one really cared

90 seconds to find a treasure trove of low competition, question-style keywords.

You're probably not using this tactic, and its really really simple to implement.

Here we go...

#seo #keywordresearch
1. Open Ahrefs
2. Put "quora.com" into Site Explorer
3. Go to Organic Keywords
4. Search for a seed keyword that you want to research

For this example, I chose "mango" Image
Now, scan through and look for questions that look relevant.

I found a bunch on the first page:
- how to tell if mange is bad
- is mango acidic
- are dried mango good for you
- is mango a citrus fruit
- does mango make you poop
etc Image

Yesterday I shared about how to use REGEX and Google Search Console to find question keywords.

I found a term I was NOT using in my article. I added one word to the article once

Today, the article jumped from #9 to #5 for the keyword Image
This is an interesting situation to point out, bc its probably happening to you as well

I was already using the first part of this keyword... I just didn't have the word "naturally" in the article

BUT I did already mention natural solutions. I just didn't use that terminology
I ranked #9 for the keyword already. Google knew that my article was discussing it... but I could be a lot more clear.

Now I'm going to go back and do the following
- add as an H2 or H3
- add an additional paragraph of content
- add a graphic about the term

Using REGEX in Google Search Console is kind of like having keyword-research super powers

I just discovered a page on a competitor's website that is probably generating 50k-100k pageviews per month!

I had a better page published within the hour

Here's how to find these 👇 Image
1. Open GSC
2. Go to Search Results
3. Add a Filter (select "+ New")
4. Select "Query"
5. Select "regex"
6. Enter: (?i)^(who|what|where|when|why|how)

You will now see the questions (keywords) that your site is getting Impressions and Clicks for ImageImage
In many cases, you already have an article (or section of an article) dedicated to the question.

Skip those.

Look for questions that you don't have any content for.

A timeline in creating my own unique, custom videos for a new YouTube channel for one of my sites, and then embedding them into my posts

4 months in the making...
June 16, 2022

The day I announced I would be putting time towards this.

Video had just won big in the May update, and I wasn't willing to sit on the sidelines anymore
July 12, 2022

Filmed the first 12 videos.

Took a lot longer than I hoped but we started to get the hange of it by the end.

Still needed editing, posting to YouTube, and embedding in articles.

Reminder that the @FatStacksBlog Niche Site Course closes today

Jon runs a collection of websites that generate over $100k/month in revenue. Highly profitable too.

I have personally taken the course, and I'm a big fan.

Here are my 5 FAVORITE things that I learned:
@FatStacksBlog #1 Finding Content Writing Agencies

Jon thoroughly tested 27 different writing agencies

He shows his eval process for each

Jon is amazing at publishing content, and this alone saved me SO much work. I got a fast track to what agencies are the best.
@FatStacksBlog #2 Ad Revenue / RPM Improvement

Jon makes the bulk of his revenue from Ads, so he has some great thoughts here.

One simple tip he shared: use vertical images

We swapped out horizontal for vertical images on our highest traffic URLs and this immediately improved RPMs
