A group of 11+ Hindu formed a charitable trust with an Urdu name #Tanzeem-E-Zarkhez in 2002 & appointed Zakir Shaikh as its manager.
Zakir, who sported a long beard was allegedly used to spread a propaganda that a Muslim trust is buying lands to open butcher house & graveyard.

Many Hindu / Muslim farmers fell into the trap & sold their lands on throwaway price to Tanzeem-E-Zarkhez & Prakash Smirti Sewa Sansthan, another trust owned by the same group.

In 2007-08, Tanzeem-E-Zarkhez was renamed after Professor PC Mahajan Foundation, father of Ravi Mahajan, director of the trust.
Trust pooled the land to use it for social work. But, now, it is building homes on these lands & selling at a higher price, said a worker of Trust.
