Welcome to the daily overview of the events of the war in Ukraine. We zoom in on general matters and of course the front line. With today a special look at #Kupyansk-#Svatove, #Kreminna and #Kherson.
1/X
As usual we start with the russian losses, which are slightly less then usual. This most likely has to do with the bad weather, making advancements and therefore direct combat less easy. We expect there hasn't been much direct combat the last day.
Last evening the AFU managed to shoot down 19 #Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and one X-59 cruisemissile.
In total 20 drones were launched. That makes a hitrate of 95%.
This morning in #Kherson oblast, a Su-25 fighter and a Ka-52 attack helicopter were shot down. Within 40 minutes!
After yesterday's attack on the railway station of Shakhtars'k where the AFU hit a column of fueltank trains, they hit the same column again today. Infliciting major damage. The full column is now destroyed.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has carried out 28 exchanges and freed 978 people from Russian captivity (including 99 civilians), - reported Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Malyar.
Ukrspecsystems has presented its new Shark UAV drone, designed for deep reconnaissance behind the front line and artillery fire adjustment, including Western missile defense systems. The drone has a camera with 30x zoom and additional resistance to electronic warfare.
Ukraine is forming a new elite airmobile brigade. It should strengthen Ukraine's amphibious assault potential. They will be called the 77th brigade and have been trained in the UK last few months.
NATO will not let Russia win the war in Ukraine - this was made clear by #Stoltenberg. A strong signal.
Putin today made statements about a possible nuclear strike on Ukraine.
In response to Russian Foreign Ministry official Konstantin Vorontsov's threats to shoot down commercial satellites helping Ukraine, John Kirby, US National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications, said no attack on US infrastructure would go unanswered.
Then to the fronts, #Kupyansk-#Svatove. The front most people look at right now.

➡️Locals from #Kuzemivka reported that since 25/10 the 🇷🇺 government has shutdown in the town
Family members of mobilized 🇷🇺 soldiers of the 55th motorized brigade fightin in and around #Svatove are complaining...
➡️Russian forces tried to attack #Bilohorivka again. They failed and retreated
➡️Russian sources say the AFU has started its offensive north of #Kreminna to cut the P66
➡️BARS-13 commander Fomich is expecting an attack near #Zhytlivka
➡️Previous unconfirmed information that #Mylove would have been captured by the AFU, we now declare as untrue.
➡️AFU remains to build up troops, but there is no forward progress from both sides. Russian troops are replaced by mobilized.
➡️Mostly artillery duels
Contrary to previous reports from various accounts, it does not appear in #kherson that Russia is planning to withdraw. Positions are reinforced with freshly mobilized troops. Street fights in #Kherson itself are also being prepared.
