BREAKING - Members of the Miami Proud Boys are working together with Hialeah Mayor Steve Bovo @MayorBovo and Miami GOP Chair Rene Garcia @SenReneGarcia planning a Sat rally in Hialeah in support Rubio canvasser & white supremacist Christopher Monzon. 1/

In this video posted today in the telegram channel for Floridians First, a local Proud Boy front group, PB Chris Barcenas #USAPB says:

“We just had a meeting with Steve Bovo and his staff and Rene Garcia”

Chris is a Jan 6th rioter, Proud Boy and @MiamiDadeGOP REC member. 2/

In the video Chris says the purpose of the meeting with Hialeah Mayor Bovo, his staff and GOP chair Garcia was moving the rally to a better venue location (Milander Park off W 49th St.) and because it is near an early voting site. 3/

Can we also point out how hilarious it is that Proud Boy lawyer Gabe Carrera and Chris Barcenas never change the aesthetic of their flyer design? 😂

Media & public should be advised that Proud Boy rally organizers have advertised Christopher Monzon’s family as speaking at the rally.

But as we’ve uncovered, Monzon’s family share his political affiliations. Father Reynaldo Cedano marched with him at Unite the Right. 6/

As politicians tend to do, we expect Bovo to deny the meeting happened or pretend that he’s never met the Proud Boys before and had no idea who they were.

But this picture of Bovo at a GOP event suggests otherwise. 7/
