For some strange reason, a Russian Mi-8 crew thought it would be safe to fly between the Ukrainian-held settlements of Berestove and Spirne, less than 2 km from the front in N-E Donetsk oblast.
The chopper made a hard landing in Russian-held territory nearby. The fate of the crew is unclear.
Source video:
New longer and better quality video shows, the landing was *very* hard, the Mi-8 turned around and probably nobody made it out alive.
Daily (Ukrainian-provided) Russian fatality figures, divided by ten, would still make sense … just saying.
IF Ukraine “liquidated” 2.000 Russian soldiers since Thursday, don't you think it would have liberated a single village too?!
Even if the Russian KIA:WIA ratio was only(!) 1:5, don't you think, Russia had a tiny problem, losing 10.000 soldiers / 5% of its combat force in 3 days?!
I mean ... think what you want, but don't insult me for stating the obvious. Enemy casualty numbers are inflated 5 to 10 times by both sides. Every day, 30-50 Ukrainians are dying in the war with slightly higher numbers on the Russian side.
And sorry again: “Source” is reason.

Ukrainian forces with a captured Russian BMP-2 in Velyka Oleksandrivka, shortly after its liberation three days ago.
More visual evidence that Makiivka in Luhansk oblast is under Ukrainian control.
Just one more village to reach and cut the Svatove - Kreminna road.

Ukrainian drone footage proves Russian invasion forces captured Zeitseve, S-E of Bakhmut, while the Ukrainian general staff claims it repulsed all Russian attacks on the village.
Turns out I was even too optimistic. Number of Lyman POWs was around 50 with at least half of them mobilized Ukrainians from Luhansk.
And number of 🇷🇺KIA was less than 100, again, half of them LNR mercenaries.
➡️Educated estimates, verified by footage and sources from the ground.
Russians first collected, then dumped, their deaths from inside Lyman city. 13 in total. 🇷🇺 unit that suffered the most casualties inside the town had 9 KIA.
You can either believe official fantasy numbers of 400-500 killed PER DAY over the last four days of the battle… or not.
And no. It’s not “pro-Russian” to use well-informed secondary sources to verify such claims - from both sides. It’s sane and reasonable.

1st visual confirmation, Ukrainian troops reached #Izyum.
However not via the P79 from Kupyansk, but via the M03 from Kharkiv, which is even more ipressive.
(As always: Map shows only visually-confirmed advances, more areas under Ukrainian control very likely.)

Another video from the same scene.
Looks to me like they are the first Ukrainian soldiers arriving at this spot with all Russians having hastely left their fortified positions and fled without a fight.
