🏭Cease any deals to expand #gas production in Africa
📉Introduce rapids gas demand reduction measures in EU
💸Invest in distributed #RenewableEnergy in partnership with African countries

And by the way... the EU's push for hydrogen expansion with its #RePowerEU plan in North Africa is another neo-colonial trap that benefits no one but the #vestedinterests of European fossil gas companies.

Europe has a historical responsibility to nations we colonised to rapidly reduce gas demand in Europe + support Africa to get off gas w debt-free & adequate #climatefinance.

The energy transition must be participatory, just & truly DECOLONIAL.
