These pro-Taiwan shills are hilariously delusional.
They think our intentions for Taiwan has anything to do with chip manufacturing, disregarding the fact that the Taiwan issue has been there since 1949.
We will conquer the chip manufacturing industry in spite of Taiwan.
Conversely, liberating Taiwan would have little impact on our chip industry.
Because our current bottleneck is not the manufacturing process, but in EUV lithography. Something Taiwan is not known for.
It has 16 VLS missile launchers with pump-jet propulsion.
For comparison, it has surpassed the Los Angeles Class and have reached similar levels of capabilities to the Virginia class submarine.
Why is it significant?
1/5🧵
There are 3 main ways for China to deter US intervention in a Taiwan scenario.
1️⃣ Missile based area denial system.
2️⃣Use our carrier battle groups to box out the US navy.
3️⃣Have enough nuclear submarines in the Western Pacific to force the US second guess themselves.
Even though our calculus is that the US is very unlikely to get directly involved. But in war, always plan for all outcomes however unlikely.
The Type-093B is the first nuclear submarine where our navy have decided to build in large batches, all at once.
