Today marks six years since a tram derailed at Sandilands Junction, killing seven local people on their way to work and injuring more than 60 people
Dane Chinnery, 19, Philip Logan, 52, Philip Seary, 57, Dorota Rynkiewicz, 35, and Robert Huxley, 63, all from New Addington, and Mark Smith, 35, and Donald Collett, 62, from Croydon all died at the scene
The parents of Mark, Jean and Colin Smith will honour the day they lost their son the same way they have since then
💬Mrs Smith said: "We will go to the Sandilands Bridge at 6.07am. We like to be there it is a way of feeling close to Mark. It is the sixth year and we will do it as long as we can. It is quite upsetting especially when we see that tram come around."
Mark had a son who was just 18 months old when he died
He worked for a specialist glass installation company and was on his way to work in Central London on the morning of the crash
Danielle Whetter, the granddaughter of Philip Logan, will attend with her grandmother Marilyn. The couple were together for 35 years

Last year an inquest concluded the seven deaths in the tram crash were "accidental"
The driver in the crash, Alfred Dorris, is expected to go on trial in early 2023 after he pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to a charge of failing to take reasonable care at work
