🧵1/23 BREAKING: Last night, Alaa Soufi appeared on a Blundell network livestream with CSIS asset Mubin Shaikh and Bryan Trottier (Diagolon infiltrator). Trottier harassed Soufi and I relentlessly for years. Soufi was warned against this. They insisted.
2\ I'll preface this by saying that in March 2021 I contacted Soufi to tell them that after investigating his hometown of Wakefield, I had come to believe that Trottier was a federal asset posing as a member of the far right, similar to Grant Bristow. thestar.com/news/gta/2017/…
3\ In 2022, Soufi came to believe they were canceled from left spaces after a stalking allegation from their ex, Danielle. A few days after their arrest at an encampment protest, Soufi's ex published a complaint in an anti-cop signal group that she was being stalked. 
4\ Membership in that group, which had been started by Soufi and a few others to protect "Foodbenders" (now anti-vaxx/pro-Russia) from JDL/Police harassment, ballooned around the encampment demos. When Soufi left, there was an attempt by an NGO to co-opt the group.
5\ Community mediation in the stalking incident failed. I tried. My own partner tried. Soufi began to espouse quasi-mystical beliefs and say/post disturbing things on social media. Their demands for "accountability" in a situation nobody had power over, began to cause problems.
6\ The loss of their mother earlier this year only exacerbated this cycle and they began to withdraw and lash out simultaneously. Several people believed that there was an attempt to push them out of activist spaces. We continued trying to help Soufi until this week.
7\ Soufi's ex teamed up with Darryl Richardson a fixer from the Rail Blockades who claimed publicly that Soufi was a paedophile and had masturbated at a restaurant while leering at people who did not consent. The masturbation was confirmed by Soufi, who expressed contrition.
8\ Richardson, as a source, was himself the subject of targeted smears of a sexual nature published during the rail blockades themselves. I'm not sharing this to impugn his character, but rather to establish that these hits are rote fed disruption. tworowtimes.com/news/local/tye…
9\ Darryl specifically alleges untoward behavior by Soufi toward two spirit youth, and unwanted advances toward minors in the community. Soufi denies this emphatically. Richardson is the source of the claim and this is the allegation that has been circulated.
10\ At this juncture I want to remind everyone that 2015's Bill C-51 effectively allowed the feds to pretend to be media, spread rumours, plant evidence or sabotage the reputation of anyone threatening the security of Canada. Wide open definition, that.
11\ Soufi became withdrawn and angry at the left for a perceived cancellation. A few weeks back they met Trottier face to face in secret. Note that in the video Trottier emphasizes 'identity politics' and 'social currency' and 'bullying'. It is very clear he's manipulated Soufi.
12\ In 2021 before the convoy I burned Trottier to Diagolon and outed him. They kicked him out. He is the crown's only witness against Jeremy MacKenzie. Trottier is being "rehabilitated" by Mubin Shaikh, another federal infiltrator. Weird 2021 Caryma/Diagolon tie in here.
13\ The crown need their Diagolon witness squeaky clean and they need his deradicalization process signed off on. Soufi, in their own words wants to "call people out". Soufi is willing to validate Trottier's deradicalization in exchange for a platform to attack Richardson.
14\ The position that Trottier was just a fascist is factually incorrect. I witnessed him spying on pipeline opponents in 2014 in Wakefield, Quebec. I traced him to the same farm in 2021. He was previously involved in the Marxist-Leninist Party, a target of RCMP infiltration.
15\ I have tweeted extensively about Trottier and his activities. I have collected years worth of notes on the subject. Soufi sees Trottier as a way to settle scores. My friend, who ate at my table, rode in my vehicle and got arrested with me, sold us out. cp24.com/news/four-arre…
16\ In 2019, Bryan spent months coordinating a far right campaign to compromise my relationships with the other arrestees (including Soufi) by circulating a fake story (and fake posts) claiming I'd become an informant. It is heart rending to see Soufi take the bait now.
17\ As for Trottier, he has not deradicalized, it was always a ruse. And he has now co-opted a disgruntled former left wing activist. Whatever is happening here isn't deradicalization at all. It's an operation, with media support and this is being stage managed.
18\ In the summer of 2021, Trottier and Dean Blundell (The Blackball podcast's media promoter), tried to manipulate me into turning coat on the Anti Hate Network with whom I have a personal conflict. Community members smeared me. Shaikh appeared on the Blundell show. Tired plot.
19\ They built hype, pretending I was going to join them on a broadcast while others turned the screws and defamed me by spreading rumours I was working with Blundell and Trottier. I declined to appear. I regret to inform you Alaa Soufi did not make the same choice.
20\ I cared about Soufi and hoped they could get better. I explained in detail why meeting with Bryan would harm our friendship, I spelled out all the ways it could compromise my ongoing work and impact security culture for the left. These warnings were ignored.
21\ So, where we're at right now, is that the weird fed adjacent interconnected network of media personalities, infiltrators and grifters are engaged in coordinated inauthentic activity and actively inducing disgruntled left wing activists to defame the rest of us.
22\ Honestly, this is the dumbest thing ever. Darryl was being handled. Soufi was being handled. We as a community failed to rein that harm in, or keep it private. Our security culture failing allowed our tormentors to inflict further harm on individuals and the community.
23\ And none of this even touches on the fact that Soufi's friend Sara Hegazi committed suicide after a harassment/fake police report campaign originating on #Kiwifarms which Trottier ringlead. Or that he repeatedly told Soufi, myself and others to kill ourselves.
24\ I am going to leave this on a light note by pointing out that the only person the pro-snitches (and the one very low rent interviewer) could find by way of an endorser for their weaksauce fake derad is a disgruntled, admitted public masturbator who hates the left now.🙄🥒👊
25\ @alaasoufi "Become ungovernable" didn't mean "become unaccountable." Make better choices in the next life "comrade". We tried, as best we could, we fucking tried.
