#狗熊有话说 在开车时睏得哈欠连天流着眼泪的状态下,听完了这本比尔·盖茨推荐的《我们为什么睡觉》,然后感叹睡眠竟然远比我们想象得还要重要。现代人的各种毛病,焦虑啊、注意力不集中啊、月经不调啊精子质量差啊,车祸啊,猝死之类,都和睡眠有大关系。每晚7、8小时的睡眠,是健康标准线 thread > Image
那些号称只睡5小时还是精力十足的人,要么有些小段睡眠自己没有意识到,要么就是在撒谎。比较重要的是REM(眼球快速移动)睡眠,这基本是我们的身体与大脑每天进行“磁盘清理”的时间,运动表现,创意能力和反应,都靠这个。对了“喝酒有助睡眠”的观点也是错误的,因为酒精会很大程度地影响REM睡眠。
睡眠这种事也有贫富分化的问题:穷人睡得少,影响了能力与表现,低收入从而需要更加辛苦,于是睡得更少。富人睡得多,也能睡得更多。比如学校现在的上课时间越来越早,稍微中产一些的家庭开车接送孩子还稍好一些,需要坐校车的学生每天可能得少睡一小时,年青人少睡一小时的影响,比成年人要深远得多。
我发现自己睡眠一般7小时是基准线,低于7小时一般白天状态就很差,理想的状态是8小时左右。

国内的很多朋友在媒体工作,感觉这个行业简直是健康高危行业,各种猝死、癌症和其他病频发。除了工作强度和饮食等原因,睡眠肯定是个重要原因。
这本书在用了几百页讲了一大堆科学研究之后,最后的附录列出了12条提升睡眠习惯与质量的建议。如果你想提升自己的睡眠质量,直接看这些建议就行。Google一下应该可以搜到。

两条我以前没有留意的经验:低室温有助于睡眠(18摄氏度)。酒精会影响睡眠。另外,睡眠类药物基本都是伤害身体的。
