29 Years ago, one another memorable day. There are unforgettable single screen moments of TFM

How can one forget 'Kungumam Manjalukkum', the prelude chorus SJ and KJY making us drool, master piece from Raja

Another Vaali compostion this time from Chinna Jameen. Mano, an under rated singer with Chitra and Raja bringing his in the interludes and the flute

Now its Balu's turn with SJ with Vaali for Kilipetchu Ketkava. Effortless but impact composition from Raja again.

Deva didnt lag behind to give this tilting melody with Balu , Chitra pair, for Kattabomman.

Few other films by one by TR one another by Deva on this day. Wait, but this day wholly belong to ARR.

Probably this was this first important date for ARR in Tamil Film context after promising and start with roja, gentleman etc. In fact kind of acid test too, and he came out as a clear winner with....

Dir Karthir, after success with Raja in Idhayam, moved to ARR and gave Uzhavan

Balu is a beast for such compositions

After Nadodi Thendra and Captain Magal's disaster, Bharathiraja came back strongly with Kizhakku Cheemaiyele. He also moved away from Raja (NT), Hamseka for Captain Magal.

KC is time tested script in Tamil films. Now with ARR, who was current rage, this movie become a hit and ARR didn't disappoint with chartbusters

But everyone was waiting for the magnu opus on that day, Mani's 'Thiruda Thiruda' that too after Thalapathy, though scored by Raja, his last teaming up with him, Roja, TT increased expectations all around with still holding Midas touch

All in our friend's group wanted to watch this FDFS. We weren't able to get tickets at city theater and only option we had was to see in HMT Auditorium, as we are living near by.

That too was not an easy task with such expectations. Previous couple of days to theater to influence never helped. Landed on the day morning to try our luck

The auditorium area was crowded. Suddenly I remember one of my friend who was working IE as intern that time. I asked whether he has brought his Visiting Card

Fortunately he had few in his wallet. Pulled to him the Manager's cabin, we did explain that he is from press, wanted to watch movie. It was not that easy to impress but after an hour of conversation, we 15 were in :-)

What a ripper of an album and BGM from ARR. Thoroughly paisa vasool

0.58 the sight of train and the BGM.... could still hear the roar in the theater. No stopping for next 3 hours.

And without doubt, Rahman came out in flying convincingly a clear winner on that day.

Yes, it was a Deepavali Day in 1993 :-) And the Deepavali belong to one and only Rahman
