Do Americans actually understand the implied unspoken words from Xi?

--"there've been gains and losses, experiences and lessons from the history of US and China."

Translate: you've never won a war with us in history, haven't you learnt yet?

Translate: you better make sure your promises count, since you're not totally in charge are you? Manage Crazy Nancy.

Translate: China is stable, but are you? Do you know where you will be in 2 years?

--"we should add confidence and hope to world peace."

Translate: We're not helping Russia, but helping restore world peace. And you guys should stop being war mongering motherfuckers.

--"I wish to exchange our views candidly and deeply on strategic issues of US-China relations and important global and regional matters with Mr President."

Translate: Exchanging views doesn't necessarily result in aligning views, since we can't cure your hegomonic mindset.

Summary: China is happy to talk, no expectations, but US should remember history lessons and don't fuck with the Chinese.

The US seems to have given small concessions to make sure China doesn't walk out - and that's already a success, since the real audience is Putin.

You really gotta read between the lines when someone of high status in China speaks, and these words are from Xi directly. Almost every sentence was saying 'fuck off', in a super polite and elegant manner. But did the Americans understand?
