Here is a photo of Poland's RAT-31DL FADR radar at Łabunie.
This radar is 40 km from Przewodów, where the missiles exploded.
That radar is barely 10 years old and has a 11x7 m antenna. It is one of the best radars NATO has. And it feeds directly into the Polish Air Force's

Air Operations Centre in Pyry. The Poles see in real time EVERYTHING that flies towards their country from the East for 500 km.

Poland knows EXACTLY where those missiles came from.

AND Pyry feeds directly into NATO's Combined Air Operations Centre Uedem.

NATO knows EXACTLY
2/4 Image
where those missiles came from.

And the US has a Patriot battery at Rzeszów, which also covers the area of the missiles impacts.

The US knows EXACTLY where those missiles came from.

And there was an AWACS plane in the air... in short: Poland and Ukraine know that if they
3/4 Image
lie about the missile's origin the US & NATO would all know they lie.
But Poland called the russian ambassador in & asked for Article IV, and the G7 got together for an emergency meeting.

Poland, G7, NATO would not do all this if this was just an errant interceptor missile.

The reasons Italy's Army never received all the funds to modernize its heavy equipment are:

1) an army doesn't need main battle tanks, tracked IFVs, long range air defense systems, self-propelled artillery, armored bridgelayers, etc. if its adversary are the Taliban.

1/n Image
2) Italy focused heavily on modernizing its Navy and Air Force equipment, which costs muuuuuuuch more than army equipment.

Two F-35 (or two Eurofighter) cost the same as the yearly salaries for an entire army brigade. Italy bought 96 Eurofighter and 90 F-35.

2/n Image
A modern frigate costs the same as raising and equipping a tank battalion with brand new Leopard 2A7V. Since the war on terror startet Italy bought/is buying 17 frigates (and 2 aircraft carriers, 4 destroyers, 8 submarines, 3 amphibious ships, etc. etc.)

🇮🇹 Italian equipment for Ukraine:

• M109L, confirmed. Quantity depends on how many can be overhauled by the Italian Army's Heavy Maintenance Pool in Piacenza. They might have to cannibalize some M109L for spares. 20-30 are a realistic number
• M270 MLRS-I, a rumor. These
1/n ImageImage
would have to be taken out of the three the army's Artillery School has. The army wants more M270 or M142 HIMARS for years... but the government never provided the necessary funds for that.
• PzH 2000, also a rumor. The army wants at least 22 more PzH 2000 for years already,
2/n Image
so donating 6x to Ukraine requires that funds for replacements are made available.
• more FH70, very possible. The army wants to replace the remaining 100+ FH70 with a mix of M777A2 & CAESAR NG for years... alas no funds were made available.
• SIDAM-25, all remaining can be

As people are wondering how the Ukrainian national symbol, the Tryzub (photo), became the most common Italian Army heraldic symbol - a Italian Army heraldry 🧵:

1/n Image
Italian Army regiments are awarded medals or crosses for feats of arms or exceptional service, which are then affixed to their regimental flags.

Here the flag of the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment with from the top:
• 1x Military Order of Italy
• 1x Gold Medal of Military Valor

• 4x Silver Medals of Military Valor
• 1x Bronze Medal of Military Valor
• 1x War Cross of Military Valor
• 1x Bronze Medal of Army Valor

The medals of valor are added to the right & left of regimental coat of arms. Here the coat of arms of the 11th Bersaglieri Regiment:

Today I had some time to ponder a few of the lessons of the war in Ukraine for NATO armies.

Doesn't mean I am 100% correct and everyone will draw different conclusions, but here are mine:

1) Main Battle Tanks (MBT) are indispensable. russia has lost more than 2,000 so far,
1/n Image
but this doesn't mean they are obsolete. Quite the contrary. Ukrainians use them competently and have shown that during an offensive nothing can replace tanks.

However due to the massive proliferation of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles ALL (!) armored vehicles now require Hardkill
2/n Image
Active Protection Systems (HAPS). Without APS armored vehicles that cost $10m will be lost to $200k ATGMs.

And it is imperative that these HAPS will be able to detect, identify and destroy loitering munitions (aka suicide drones). Air defense has no chance to shoot down all

After putin loyalist Yanukovych's troops killed people on Euromaidan Steinmeier raced to Kyiv on 21 February 2014 to try to keep Yanukovych in power.

And on 2 October 2019 Steinmeier tried to force Ukraine to submit to all of putin's demands about its future and Donbas.
1/4 Image
In 2016 Steinmeier worked tirelessly to help putin take back control of all of Syria for the Assad regime.

And every day he defended Nord Stream 2 as a "purely commercial" project that "Germany owes to russia".

And Steinmeier is one of the biggest cheerleaders of doing

business with Iran's mullahs, while they murder Iranian girls, wage war in Yemen, and help bomb Kyiv.

In spring 2022, after russia invaded Ukraine, he demanded to be invited to Kyiv to whitewash his subservience to putin and his betrayal of Eastern Europe. When he wasn't

After Saki I had to shoot down the nonsense that it was drones or Special Forces.

After Kerch I had to shoot down the nonsense that it was a truck or boat bomb.

Now with #Nordstream I have to shoot down the nonsense that it was an explosive filled Pipeline Inspection Gauge
1/4 Image
aka a PIG.

PIGs are pushed through pipelines by the flow of oil or gas. Nord stream 2 pipe A was filled with gas from 4 to 18 October 2021, but gas never flowed to Germany. So the russians would have had to insert the explosive PIG in October 2021... with a fuze set for 11

2/4 Image
months later... and if the Germans had accept gas from Nord Stream 2 in those 11 months the explosive filled PIG would have arrived at the German end of the pipeline... with only russia as possible culprit.

Nord stream 1 had flow until 31 August 2022. So russia could have
