What you may not know is that we were helpless to stop bills like AB5, and he came back to fight it again the next session. We took losses. But now, they won’t get the PRO Act through if it goes party line. They can’t do that harm to others nationwide. Because we have Kiley.
Going from disenfranchised and inflicted to now holding the power to stop it— it’s an amazing turn of events. Because nobody stopped fighting even when things were so bad hope was hard to believe in. We never gave up on each other. And, they won’t get the chance to do it again.
So it’s not just because I *like* Congressman-elect Kiley. It’s that we got the snot kicked out of us, people suffered under AB5 & other laws.
