People think renewables are the future, but California proves there’re not. Electricity from zero-carbon energy sources *declined* by 10% from 2011-2021 despite massive expansion of solar. I explained why to @altifpodcast pod.fo/e/14e6bb
#renewableenergy #cop27
40 U.S. coal-fired power plants that had been scheduled for closure will remain open longer because a) Biden & climate nihilists blocked natural gas production, and b) renewables are making America’s electrical grid rickety & increasingly unstable

gridbrief.com/p/american-coa…
“People fall for the fantasy of renewables…which force reliable sources off the grid. A vicious cycle results: gas plant operators oppose base load's presence on the grid because they make their money off the scarcity pricing wind and solar create.”

gridbrief.com/p/american-coa…
Renewables and the war on reliable energy is destroying the US electrical grid. They’ll blame future blackouts on climate change

Is it a coincidence that those who say civilization is unsustainable are making it so?

Nine years ago, when crypto-fraudster @SBF_FTX was 19, his mother, a Stanford professor, wrote a very long article making the case that free will is a myth and that we should not blame people for committing crimes.

bostonreview.net/forum/barbara-…
“[O]ur worldviews, aspirations, temperaments, conduct, and achievements—everything we conventionally think of as “us”—are in significant part determined by accidents of biology and circumstance,” she wrote in 2013.
“[S]uppose that Smith grew up in a neighborhood where drug dealing was the most common form of gainful employment. He was raised by a single mother who was a cocaine addict, and by the time he was twelve was supporting his family by selling drugs…

Many believe entrepreneurs can and should combine altruism with capitalism, but they shouldn't. In fact, doing so is often the basis for the kind of fraud that brought down the crypto-exchange FTX, and which increasingly threatens the future of ESG.

michaelshellenberger.substack.com/p/crypto-fraud…
Bankman-Fried donated to many progressive causes allied with the “effective altruism movement,” eg pandemic response. He spoke at, and presumably donated to, the World Economic Forum’s Davos conference last May and the Clinton Foundation’s Clinton Global Initiative in September.
Bankman-Fried is similar to Bernie Madoff in that both men used philanthropic giving, and the veneer of humility, to create a positive reputation while running pyramid schemes that should have set off red flags among investors, regulators, and journalists.

Many say you can’t motivate an addict to quit, but that’s obviously wrong. Every year, thousands of addicts quit to avoid jail time. The people who deny the success of mandated treatment are pursing a radical de-incarceration agenda, not public health.

realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2022/…
“Without sobriety, there is no mental or emotional stability for me and most other drug addicts, meaning homelessness was inevitable,” he said. “Half measures and coddling do not work. Period.”
“But the idea that you have to quit drugs to recover from addiction has become old-fashioned, and treatment centers that insist on abstinence are disappearing. In California, state law makes it virtually impossible for publicly-funded programs to push clients to quit using.”

They say we’re in a climate emergency. We’re not. They’re in a psychiatric emergency

Global elites seeking societal control are spreading climate misinformation that is creating and exacerbating anxiety disorders and exhibitionist narcissism

Climate activists say they aren’t hurting anybody by attacking art works like this Klimt just now, but they’re creating energy scarcity by reducing natural gas production, anxiety disorders in children, and multiple car accidents & at least 1 death.

Climate activists are the shock troops for the Great Reset. They’re weaponizing mental illness and psychiatric disorders in youth activists to create global energy and food shortages that hurt poor & working people and benefit elites.

Biden & other elites claim climate change is catastrophic, threatens human existence, worsens floods, increases fires, threatens food supplies, and can be solved by renewables. That's false. I debunk those myths and exaggerations in a new video.

Climate and weather-related disasters are declining because disasters are defined as deaths + costs, both of which are declining. ImageImageImage
Floods aren't increasing. There's more rain in some places but floods are easy to prevent through flood management. Where more people are exposed to floods it's because more people are living in flood zones. And no, floods aren't increasing in either Pakistan or China. ImageImageImageImage
