Struggling to make money in the bear market?

What if there was an opportunity that could make you over $50,000 USD? @optimismFND $OP was worth that at it's peak!

Read on, for how to qualify for one of the most anticipated airdrops of all time!

A (very long) 🧵
The airdrop we'll discover today is - @zksync

To begin: what is zkSync?

zkSync is an Ethereum scaling solution, using zero-knowledge proof technology. It aims to solve the Ethereum scaling problem with zero security compromises.
Its current functionality is low gas fees for transferring $ETH and #ERC-20 tokens on the @ethereum Network.

Link to their Github repository: github.com/matter-labs/zk…
The ELI5 explanation of how @zkSync works is that a smart contract holds all funds on the Ethereum mainnet, while computation and storage of the blockchain are performed offchain.
Every new block is a Rollup, which produces a zero-knowledge proof that is verified by the mainchain smart contract.

@zkSync has a lot of advantages over other #Ethereum scaling solution projects. Such as:
Validators can never corrupt the state of the blockchains’ history or steal funds. This can happen on sidechains like #Polygon.
Users can always retrieve their funds even if validators attempt to cheat the system.
The entire system works without the need for any users to be online monitoring rollups.

@zksync has not launched their native token, however their whitepaper confirms that a token will be launching.
@zksync 2.0 launched on mainnet October 28th, 2022.

How can I qualify for the airdrop?
While there are no official rules for qualifying for the airdrop from official @zkSync sources, the same strategies that have worked for us to qualify for previous airdrops ($OP for example) will likely apply here.
I will list the strategies that I am implementing to qualify for the airdrop in order of importance, including links to protocols and even screenshots to help you with the process. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
At the outset, these strategies involve risk, as do all cryptocurrency transactions and defi strategies. This is not financial advice, please do not use large quantities of money, and follow best practices.

Strategy 1: Bridging funds from Ethereum Mainnet to @zksync
The first and most important strategy is bridging funds to the zkSync wallet.

Official zkSync Bridge: wallet.zksync.io

Step 1: Connect your Ethereum Wallet
Step 2: Select ‘Top Up’

There are lots of ways to ‘Top Up’ your zkSync wallet.
You can purchase $ETH assets with a credit card, use the @Bybit_Official integration to send funds directly from ByBit, or, what we’ll be doing here, using bridges. Historically, using bridges has always been the top requirement for qualifying for an airdrop.
Step 3: Select zkSync bridge

Feel free to use the other methods, but for my strategy, we’ll be using bridges. I recommend attempting to use all four supported bridges: @layerswap, Orbiter, @ZigZagExchange, and most importantly: the zkSync official bridge.
If you only use one bridge, I recommend using zkSync’s official one. Using the other bridges is recommended, but if you can only use one, use @zksync.

Step 4: Input asset and amount to bridge and select ‘Top Up’

In this example, I’ll be using @MetaMask.
Input the amount and the token you wish to bridge. In this example, I’m bridging $ETH over. You can bridge other tokens over, but I recommend that you bridge ETH first. You’ll need it for gas fees for later strategies and bridging ETH will likely be a requirement for the airdrop.
You can use the @zksync block explorer to monitor your transactions: zkscan.io

If you use the other bridges (recommended) I would order their importance as follows:
-ZigZag #1
-Orbiter #2
-LayerSwap #3 (exchange to network, so different from the above two and likely less important)

Strategy 2: Use zkSync protocols running on their Alpha testnet
Using testnet protocols is a surefire way to qualify for their airdrop, and this strategy will require using that testnet.

So first, we need to get the testnet added as a Network to your wallet.
The easiest way to accomplish this is by interacting with our first testnet protocol: 1kx.

This is a decentralized exchange protocol running on testnet. First, visit their website: beta.1kx.exchange/pools/
Click ‘Connect Wallet’ in the top right hand corner, this will prompt your wallet to add the network to your list of known networks. After that, click ‘Test tokens’ at the top.
This will give you a ridiculous amount of tokens to play around with (don’t rush to sell them, remember we’re on testnet, this is funny money).

Testnet Protocol One: @1KX

After you’re all connected and loaded up, just play around with the exchange for a bit.
Do some swaps, open some long and short positions, deposit into some pools, use your tokens as collateral to borrow some tokens.

Wait, what? You don’t have any native token to send any transactions?
I’ll walk you through how to get alpha testnet tokens AND qualify for the CONFIRMED 1KX airdrop as well!

Step One: Switch over to the Ethereum Goerli Testnet.
Visit the Goerli faucet to receive free Goerli ETH tokens - goerlifaucet.com
You will have to sign up for a free @AlchemyPlatform account to use the Goerli faucet. Just sign up for a free account, they support SSO login or just use a burner sign up account.
Pro Pro Tip: If you’ve developer minded, and can easily setup up a webhook, in your Alchemy dashboard set up an Alchemy Notify webhook for anything you want. This will allow you to get twice the amount of Goerli ETH from the faucet.
You can just create a Discord channel on your server and set up a webhook that way… ;)

Use the zkSync testnet bridge to bridge your Goerli ETH to zkSync Goerli. portal.zksync.io/bridge
Just give it a few minutes, and after a while new UNKNOWN tokens will appear in your zkSync Alpha Testnet wallet. Now we can pay some gas fees!

Now that you can pay gas fees, go ahead and complete the 1KX steps I mentioned above.
Final thoughts on 1KX: Recommend trying to get at least 50 transactions, ideally 100. It’s a bit of a grind, but well worth it for some sweet crypto airdrops.
Also, some are recommending to use it regularly, so splitting your efforts into 2-3 times per week to reach the above-mentioned goals is a viable strategy as well.

Testnet Protocol Two: @MintSquareNFT
Visit mintsquare.io/zksync-testnet , make sure that zkSync Testnet is the network you’re connected to.
Then click on ‘Collections’ in the top right corner, select any collection and mint an NFT that you can afford (remember, you don’t have unlimited Goerli ETH that you bridged over, so buy responsibly).

After you purchase an NFT, I would recommend minting your own NFT.
mintsquare.io/mint Upload any image you want, put in the description and external link if applicable, and MINT THAT BABY!

After that, I recommend joining Mint Square’s discord and getting some roles.
This step is optional, but if you want access to upcoming Mint Square drops then these steps will help you qualify for some more free crypto dividends.

Discord Link: discord.com/invite/mintsqu…

Once in their Discord, head the ‘Verify’ channel.
Scroll up and complete the Captcha (it will post a message at the bottom of the channel so scroll down to complete it before it times out).

After that, find the blue text that says ‘Verify your Wallet’.
Click through and connect your wallet and sign the message, then click ‘Join Guild’. This will give you access to that role.

Now go back to Discord, in the ‘Verify’ channel, click on the blue text ‘Join Mint Square’.
Congratulations, you now have your first role on their server!

Testnet Protocol Three: @syncswap

SyncSwap is a DEX building on @zkSync. Let’s interact with their testnet to boost our chances of qualifying for the zkSync airdrop!
First, head over to the SyncSwap website: syncswap.xyz

Connect your wallet (@zkSync testnet) and click on ‘Faucet’ in the top right corner. You will be using your ‘UNKNOWN’ alpha testnet tokens that we bridged over from Goerli to pay for transactions.
(If you run out, just wait 24 hours and request more from the Goerli Faucet).

The faucet will give you plenty of test tokens to interact with the platform.

Now head over to the ‘Trade’ tab and do some test trades, I would recommend at least five with different assets.
Next, let’s test out their Pool feature. Head to the ‘Pools’ tab, add a new pool, select your assets, approve them, and ‘Add Liquidity’. Again, I would do this five times with different assets.
Join their Discord to claim your badges for their potential drops in the future as well.

Official Discord: discord.com/invite/syncswap

In their Verify/Rules channel you’ll see the Guild.xyz links to connect your wallet and claim your role.
It seems the only other badge you can claim at this point is the Twitter connect, so you can connect your Twitter and it will post a tweet for you.

That’s it for @SyncSwap, let’s continue our adventure!

Testnet Protocol Four: @PhezzanProtocol
@PhezzanProtocol is a decentralized exchange building on @zkSync. To complete this step, you will need some Goerli ETH.

Step One: Visit testnet.phezzan.xyz
Step Two: Click ‘Deposit’ next to USDC
Step Three: Click ‘Claim USD’
Step Four: Confirm transaction in your wallet
Step Five: Select ‘Max’ for USDC amount and Deposit
Step Six: Confirm transaction in your wallet
Step Seven: Open up Long and Short Positions on $ETH, $APE, & $GMT
To do this, click on ETH in the left hand menu. Input a small amount of ETH into the box, and click ‘Confirm Long’.
After you confirm the transaction, switch the tab above from Long to Short, and repeat the process, this time opening a Short position.
Repeat this same process for both $APE and $GMT.
Step Eight: Here I was going to recommend adding liquidity to their Pools, unfortunately it seems as if they’ve closed that feature.

So we’re done with Phezzan! On to the next!

Testnet Protocol Five: Primex Finance @primex_official
There are several guides that exist out there for Primex Finance, however as of Oct 5, 2022, the Ethereum Rinkeby Testnet has been deprecated and so has the faucet. Due to this, Primex has migrated to the Goerli Testnet where we have been doing most of our action.
That makes every other guide that I’ve come across obsolete, so let’s dive in together with the CURRENT information.

Step One: Visit primex.finance and click ‘Launch App’ in the top right corner
Step Two: Connect your wallet and switch to Goerli Testnet
Step Three: Click ‘Tokens Faucet’ at the top center
Step Four: Mint all four tokens: WETH, WBTC, USDC, LINK. You’ll need Goerli ETH to pay for transactions, hit the Goerli Faucet detailed above if you need more.
Step Five: Navigate to the ‘Lend’ dropdown and click ‘Buckets’.
This will take you to all the Liquidity Pools you can deposit into.
Step Six: Deposit tokens into all three available Buckets: USDC, WBTC, WETH.
Step Seven: Navigate to the ‘Lend’ dropdown and click ‘Deposits’. This screen will let you manage deposits you’ve made into Buckets.
Step Eight: Withdraw all the tokens you deposited from all three buckets.
Step Nine: Trading: Navigate to the ‘Trade’ dropdown and select ‘Trading’.
Step Ten: We’re going to be spending some time here.
The first thing we want to do is open up Spot Positions on WBTC, WETH, and LINK using Market Orders. To do this, make sure the Spot tab is selected and the Market tab is selected. Then select ‘WBTC’ from the drop down.
Enter any amount, enter any TP/SL you desire, choose any DEX you like, and click ‘Swap’.
Step Eleven: Now change ‘WBTC’ in the dropdown to ‘WETH’, enter in any amount you like, choose different TP/SL, and choose a different DEX from the dropdown. Click ‘Swap’.
Step Twelve: Change ‘$WBTC’ in the dropdown to ‘$LINK’, enter any amount, enter in TP/SL, choose a different DEX from the dropdown. Click ‘Swap’.
Step Thirteen: Now that we’ve entered all possible Spot Market Orders, it’s time to enter all possible Spot Limit Orders.
To do this, change from the Market tab to the Limit tab.
Step Fourteen: Select ‘$WBTC’ from the drop down menu, enter in a Limit Price lower than the current market price (you will see the current market price quoted below the box to enter the Limit Price in this fashion: 1 WBTC = X). Set your TP/SL and click ‘Create Limit Order’.
Step Fifteen: Change ‘$WBTC’ from the drop down menu to ‘$WETH’ and repeat the process.
Step Sixteen: Change ‘WBTC’ from the drop down menu to ‘LINK’ and repeat the process.
Ok, we’ve now entered all possible Spot Market and Spot Limit Orders.
Now it’s time to enter into all possible Margin Market and Limit Orders and we’re almost done here!
Step Seventeen: Navigate to the ‘Trade’ drop down menu at the top and select ‘Balance’.
Step Eighteen: Click ‘+ New Deposit’.
Select ‘$USDC’ from the drop down menu and enter in something like 2,000-3,000. Click ‘Trader Deposit’ and confirm the TX.
Step Nineteen: Navigate back to the ‘Trade’ dropdown and select ‘Trading’ to get back to the Trading screen.
Step Twenty: Change the ‘Spot’ tab to ‘Margin’ and make sure ‘Market’ is selected.
Step Twenty-One: Make sure ‘$WBTC’ is selected from the drop down, enter in any amount, set your TP/SL, select your last DEX option, select a Leverage Amount (2x is fine), and under ‘Deposit Size’ enter in a value larger than the displayed ‘Minimum Amount’. Click ‘Open Position’.
Step Twenty-Two: Change ‘$WBTC’ to ‘$WETH’ and repeat the process.
Step Twenty-Three: Change ‘WETH’ to ‘$LINK’ and repeat the process.
Now it’s time to complete all possible Margin Limit orders.
Step Twenty-Four: Change ‘Market’ tab to ‘Limit’ tab.
Step Twenty-Five: Make sure ‘WBTC’ is selected from the drop-down, enter in any amount, enter in a price that is below Market Price, set your TP/SL, select a DEX, and enter in a number larger than the minimum for ‘Deposit Size’ and click ‘Create Limit Order’.
Step Twenty-Six: Change ‘$WBTC’ to ‘$WETH’ and repeat the process.
Step Twenty-Seven: Change ‘WETH’ to ‘$LINK’ and repeat the process.

Depending on how today's candle closes, I'm looking for some upside risk in #Bitcoin. I spoke at length during today's mentoring session about how money will likely flow into decentralized exchanges and defi protocols with the mass exodus from centralized exchanges.
I primarily have my eyes on @arbitrum and @optimismFND protocols. Once Arbitrum does their airdrop, much of that capital will flow into Arbitrum tokens.
Had a lot of success shorting Bitcoin and Ethereum throughout this bear market, but we have an interesting technical situation arising.

Historically, when the Historical Volatility indicator hits lows below 50, a huge move always follows. Image
