On Trump vs GOP field

The leadership and most Senators, some Congressmen want someone (else) to take out Trump. They want 'anyone' to go against Trump for the 2024 nomination

Most serious candidates know that is a suicide mission unless were 'Never Trumpers' like John Kasich
Because of what happened to Liz Cheney, no sitting Senator, Congressman or Governor DARES to take on Trump. Trump has too much power with base Maga, with VERY few exceptions (=Romney) Trump can crush almost anyone on GOP side if Trump decides to do so (he can't harm DEMs)
So Death Santis, Abbott, Ted Cruz? Will not go against Trump. Only very WEAK candidates can attempt the move - out of desperation (= Mike Pence) or if they're so old, they have no more time (=Chris Christie)

So, first, obviously... after my total conviction on Giuliani, and DOJ decision to not press any criminal charges on Giuliani (so far) - I have really no credibility on anything relating to prison time BUT

BUT. I am (again) sure that Trump will be tried & convicted of Jan 6 and
..and of Espionage-a-Lago. I am not anticipating Trump to be the FIRST to be arrested or indicted because he is the Mafia boss, he will be LAST to be indicted

That said, on Mar-A-Lagogate, it is plausible Trump is tried and even sentences before Nov 2024 election. He COULD be..
