I know you guys won't be expecting any wishes because our world and this society doesn't celebrate your existence like it celebrates other occasions and somewhere you too aren't much affected by this now.
To all such men, who are currently, blinking their eyes in the thought of their future, career, their job, their upcoming exam, to all the men who got rejected and thinking about their lost love,
to them who never dared to confess their feelings and end up being just one sided lovers and still wearing a smile, to them who work day and night to give their family a bright future, to all the men who got scolded by their father because they are not living up to expectations,
to men who are doubtful about their existence, they who think they failed as a man in proving themselves, in serving, in providing what they are meant to provide as a man, to all the men who play their role tirelessly as father, as brother, as friends, as lovers
Dear Men, We hear you and will continue to shine light on the masculine strength that the new world wants to make you believe is toxic. Your Contributions Matter, Your Sacrifices Matter, Your Voice Matter.
Happy international Men’s day. 💙

At some point I thought my dad was jealous 😂 because my Mum’s looks came out a lot in me and my siblings than my Dad’s, he’s dark skinned but he was a very smart business minded person and I’m glad I took all that from him.
I love that my Dad was around to balance me up.
I barely flinched when people compliment my looks outside cos my mum sang it to me everyday, I was very conscious of it, I wanted to look even better so I could hear more of the praises but anytime I made any extra effort like dyeing my hair or some crazy hairstyle, he cuts in…
