Many people use the terms #shitcoin and #memecoin indistinctly and they are absolutely WRONG.

Let's CLARIFY some concepts....🧵👇

A SHIT COIN is a coin that:

1) Has the fundamentals to be a POTENTIAL FAIL

... and, after all,

2) FAILS.

If doesn't fulfill BOTH requirements is NOT a shit coin, so:

- If a coin has the fundamentals to be a POTENTIAL FAIL but gets a market SUCCESS, it's NOT a shit coin anymore.

- If a coin has a strong fundamentals but for any reason has NO market success, that's NOT a shit coin either. You can call it FAIL.

Don't get CONFUSED. Meme coins are NOT shit coins.

Due most of the meme coins rely on very WEAK fundamentals, as soon as they fail they become shit coins, thus a lot of meme coins are ALSO shit coins.

BUT, not all the meme coins are shit coins and vice versa.

$DOGE and $SHIBA are meme coins, NOT shit coins, they:

- Are SUCCESSFUL according to market metrics.
- Have a HUGE COMMUNITY behind.
- RANK HIGH by market cap.
- KEEP GROWING on bull markets.
- PERFORM as bad AS ANY OTHER coin during bear markets.

Meme is a niche within the crypto market and is as VALID as any other.

Who are we to call something shit when the FACTS prove the opposite?

In the end the MARKET RULES. They are among the top 15 most invested coins, you like it or not.

So if you are one of those who classify ALL meme coins as shit coins, you can either:

- Keep denying the elephant in the room and be WRONG,

or

- You can STOP calling them shit coins. 😄
