None of this is a financial advice, always DYOR. Just sharing what I found to work best.

After FTX imploded, our choices of fiat–crypto ramps got limited here in Singapore.
These are still active and work directly with Singapore banks: Independent Reserve @indepreserve, @coinhako, @cryptocom, @LunoGlobal. @indepreserve seems to have lower fees overall.

If you buy/sell $USDT or $USDC, don’t trade directly SGD <-> USDT/C, you’ll get a bad exchange rate. Get a multicurrency acct w\@dbsbank and register an acct with a broker (I use @IBKR and @SaxoSingapore)…

…Now send SGD from DBS to broker, exchange to USD at a better rate, send back to DBS, from DBS send USD to crypto exchange (I use @indepreserve for cheap depo/withdrwl to/from DBS), now exchange USD to USDT/C at basically 1:1 rate.

Do not keep you crypto or fiat in the exchange. Do your swap and take the funds out, either to a bank account for fiat, or to your own crypto-wallet for crypto. Be ready to lose whatever is left in your exchange account.
5/8
Do not use custodial crypto wallets in general, even though they are often more convenient. Take full control of your crypto. For @ethereum and compatible networks, @MetaMask is a good starting point. Consider investing in a hardware wallet (@Ledger Nano S is a good starter).
6/8
In the current turbulent times be careful with staking your coins into yield farms and aggregators, esp those that promise high ROI (more than 3-5 %). Do extensive research. Be careful with “wrapped” coins, see what happened to $soBTC and $soETH.
7/8
To summarize: be smart, DYOR, take control of your funds, do not degen into scams, be safu. wagmi, brothers and sisters.
